My final verdict on Dwight will be for his performance during playoffs. I know Dwight had his share of lackluster effort this season. That's okay if he coasts in a few games here and there. His long term health is more important than a couple of regular season wins. There are only a handful of max or close to max players who out-performed their contracts this season. LeBron Durant LMAldridge PGeorge (max next year) KLove Curry Parker Dwight, Harden, and Lin are right at their contract value. Parsons, Casspi, Bev are great value players who kept the cap hit on lower end among the 'second-tier' of contenders. Asik is the only one who had under-performed. Wins vs Team Cap
So much wrong with this. Yes GS were bad without Iggy, I'm just saying its not an excuse. Way to completely ignore the clippers and thunders injuries. Rockets missing their second best player last year is such a skewered statement. Asik obviously won't be the same as last year because of his minutes limited, so they're never gonna get the asik of last year. We got a better second best player so no excuses. Only had their top 7 players together" - thats a large sample, it's a much bigger deal when it's your top two players like OKC. God knows how many games spurs' top 7 played together last year, I'm sure it wasn't too many times. Again, skewered statement
First of all, it's "skewed" not "skewered". Second of all, you seem to have completely ignored everything I said in my post and concluded everything with your ad infinitum "It's not an excuse". I didn't bring up OKC because I would have thought that by now you would have actually looked up some facts before constructing your argument. OKC is 6-6 without Westbrook, that's not some amazing record considering the fact that OKC has the 2nd (and probably MVP this season) best player in the league. Clippers are far more refined and have far more developed chemistry. However, their wins without Chris Paul are anything but impressive. They have beaten Magic, Lakers, Celtics, and Dallas is their only significant win. You don't seem to understand why having healthy players is important to this team. Chemistry does not develop if players are not healthy because they do not get opportunities to play on the court. None of my statements are skewed, they are just facts. You can perceive them however you want, but that doesn't make them less of a factor to the performance of this team. Rockets have had little opportunities to develop on court chemistry, have had many injuries, and are missing their 2nd best player last season who would have helped tremendously off the bench in terms of rebound and defense.
Yessir. From lowering our FT %. He has been a big help for the Rockets. Just look at the record from last year till now.
They're not strong points. Yes it's true the top 7 statement, but why 7? Yes asik was 2nd best last year but not this year. You're just misleading to make excuses. Bottom line, weve had our top 2 more than a team like OKC, and compare records. Now go watch us lose again and make more excuses
