Power forward (of course) and backup center. Don't sleep on backup center. We couldn't stop anybody when Asik was out.

Star Talent. Don't care about the position. Not even if said player is a SG and we're forced to play 3 guard lineups. As long as it's star talent, we need it.

Every position (except SG and C), and the bench (except PG). Doesn't matter how strong your starters are if their subs will lose any lead they get.

This summer will be a battle for that PF spot, and one of the youngins will rise to the top (thanks to Scola).

Best play maker? Are you sure? Harden? I still think he's a very good SG and a part-time play maker but no, he's not the best at distributing the ball. I'd still rather have CP3 if we can get him. Lin's nice but isn't there yet. He needs to develop more consistency at shooting, handling and moving without the ball if he'll be a good fit to Harden or else Harden would also need to adjust a little bit. With CP3, McHale can put the ball in his hands whenever he's on court and Harden will be more effective. Ideally, KL/LMA/Millsap does fit the bill of a good PF acquisition. I'm torn between Howard and Asik because they're both good at the C position. Regardless, I hope Morey will take into account TEAM chemistry since it's also one of the necessary ingredients towards building a championship team. You can get all the talent that you want but you won't be able to win a championship without chemistry. (Lakers with Malone and Payton).

The poll is irrelevant. It's not so simple to say that we needto upgrade a particular position. what we need to upgrade is particular skill sets and players that fit within the system and chemistry next to Harden. That can be ANY position. If there is a C that is more compatible with Harden than Asik is (soft hands for example) then we need that upgrade.

If we need a more off the ball PG that doesn't have a similar PNR game to Harden (ie. Lin), then we upgrade to them.

But you did, and you did well.

With Garcia as good as gone and Delfino a big question mark, we probably will need a solid backup for Parsons -- a SF with sufficient shooting skills to provide the spacing for the other four to operate freely but without being a defensive liability. Bud was an average defender and Novak's defensive strategy was to just get in the way of his opponent. However, as good as Garcia's trey was last season, Bud and Novak make him look like Chuck Hayes at the three point line. (Ah, fond memories!)

That said, I hope we find the funds and wherewithal to re-sign Garcia and / or Delfino heals up during the off season.
