    26 in a few months

You boys can only be allowed into the older age groups after you start wishing you were grouped with the 16-year-olds, instead of grumbling about it

    :D

Well, so far it looks like the board is dominated by the 16 to 30 age groups -- roughly contemporaries of current players. There doesn't seem to be very many of us whose personal memory stretches back to the 50s and 60s, and maybe that's a good thing. It will be interesting to see the final totals, although I hope that is not soon so that as many as possible participate.

Now, if you can translate this to how many available females are on this board...oh wait...

I put in my bid as the oldest -- 11/21/46 -- and I still walk an average of two miles per day (without cane) in 25 or fewer minutes.

Awesome Thumbs- you are my hero for the day.

Were you a fan of Rodney McCray? He was one of my favorites-not a superstar like Moses, Rudy,Hakeem, Ralph, Clyde, Tracy, Steve, or Yao, but really consistent.

McCray was the safe choice player, but I will never forget my disappointment when Bill Fitch chose him over Clyde Drexler. I was sitting in the Channel 2 newsroom huddled around a monitor. The announcement came and everybody groaned. McCray was a solid player (an early version of Shane Battier), but Clyde was a hometown hero.
