AI & Melo kicked BD and Jack. Throw in J.R. Smith and you get a solid Nuggets win.

The Warrior are just about out. Down 1 game with 3 to go and the Nugs own the tie-breaker.

I'm looking towards Game 4 of the 2009 Finals when we finally sweep the celtics to win our 2nd ring in a row.

You are not a fan unless you think otherwise.

glad the nuggets won... despite their inconsistency, i think they are a bigger threat to do damage against the 1 seed, which i hope remains the new orleans hornets.

after tonight, i agree. when motivated, denver can hurt you quick. GSW will fold and start taking jumpers under pressure.

Me too... the Nuggets vs Hornets is an excellent matchup and I can see Iverson leading Denver past the inexperienced Hornets. But I'm more excited that Denver wouldn't have to play S.A. and get whooped by them again. That makes for a boring series and lots of rest for Spurs before the 2nd round. Bad bad badddddddd!

We're not in yet. I want to at least split the back-to-back coming up with Utah and you guys. We do that, and I like our odds. I do know that I just bought my tickets to games 3 & 4, so I'm happy.

Are the Nuggets still capable of throwing their playoff ticket away?

It's very unlikely but if the Warriors can gather themselves and win out the last three then there is a fat chance. Of course, that includes a game on the road against the Suns. B Diddy and Captain Jack really look like running out of gas in the late stretch of games. Heavy minutes through out the season take a toll on them. That's part of bad things about Nellie ball - Nellie plays his stars heavy minutes.

The Nuggets need to win 2 out of 3 to leave the Warriors with no chance (or, the Warriors lose 1 game). Winning at Utah is a low % shot and I also feel pretty good about the the chance of the Rockets to win at Denver. So, my guess is the Nuggets have a fat chance to finish at 49 wins and leave a shot for the Warriors to enter the playoffs. It will be pretty good drama till the end.

Who ever gets the 8 spot will give misery to #1 seed?

Whether it is LA/No? SA....the Warriors or very healthy and hot Denver team.

I think LA and NO will really struggle against the two, I even see the series going to a full 7 games. Even with the acquistion of Gasol, the Nuggets still match up pretty well against the Lakers, especially since Martin is probably healthy again. I think he could slow down whoever is at PF for the Laker and Camby might be somewhat overrated, but still a good defender. And you have Denver's backcourt out there, too. And both LA and NO do not have great team defense, so they might be on their heels alot in the series.

I don't think SA would struggle as much, because they way more discipline and make great adjustment all over the floor.

I could see this being another year where 8th seed knocks off #1. It wouldn't be so shocking, while no team in the West going to win 60 games this year.

    Remaining schedule for

    GSW
    @Phoenix
    Seattle

    Denver
    Rockets
    Memphis

Right now they are tied for 8th with denver owning the tiebreaker.

Warriors need nuggets to lose atleast 1 game, and they need to win both of their games.
