that's the thing though, nix doesn't have to guard opposing point guards if he is playing with green. Jalen Green has shown immense potential guarding the opposing 1s and Nix could easily body up 2s and 3s in this league.

then maybe green is our PG .. unless nix gets real good im not taking the ball out of green's hands to set him up . If hes not guarding 1's and you need someone to guard 2-3 then gimme KPJ, Tate, or JC.

Too inconsistent and immature to rely on as your starting PG. Sure, he can play the position adequately, but not good enough to win with. He’s a 2 with enough ability to play 1 or 3, but he’s not reliable enough to win with at any of those spots right now. He’s still a project. He needs to improve a lot and he needs to do it fast or he won’t be around once he gets a little older. You can live with his deficiencies when he’s young and on a bad team, but if he can’t start hitting his free throws and handling the ball better, there won’t be a place for him. He’s just not good enough.

I think a true PG is what we need more than anything right now. That said, I think the Rockets need to draft bigs and develop them this year and possibly go after a PG in next year's draft or see if Nix or Porter can take their playmaking skills to the next level in 22-23.

That is unless we can get Ivey who I admit is more of a 2 but only after getting either Jabari or Chet.

I heard we have a great point guard on retainer. He is a league leader that averaged 10 dimes a game and known for his defense. He can shot, too. Veteran experience. He helped with development of one of the shooting guards in the league today. If we only had a player like that on our team. If we had a player like that would we be talking about the top five pick.

Porter’s time is up and the learning curve is over. He had done all that was asked of him. He is a really nicely rounded player now because of the time spent on his development. Let Porter find success in a role that uses ALL of his TALENTS. He is a wonderful spark plug type and closer.

I voted for 6th man because there wasn't a trade option.
