JITB. I think Taco Bell puts hormones in their food that attracts younger people. I used to love it, but now it disgusts me. OTOH, my 14-yr-old's only motivation to get a license is to go to Taco Bell. No White Castles in H-Town that I know of. I went to one once in Indianapolis. My GF's uncle ordered like 60 burgers and I thought he was kidding. I ate 12 and was on the toilet an hour later. Haven't been back when I was up north for any reason.
Why do people say stuff like this? It's absolutely uneducated and ignorant. If you'd like, I can post the actual ingredients of each. And I've had both before, with nary an odd trip to the toilet.
White Castle made me sick the first time I ate it, and I've never really had anything good to say about it if I have subsequent tried it which I can't remember. I unabashedly love Jack in the Box tacos, and I like a lot of stuff at Taco Bell, but I wish they'd leave their various sauces out of things. Yes, I would like a cheap quesadilla or burrito. No, I don't want you to add weird sauce to it. Nobody else does that.
Only 2 dollars JITB 5 dollars Taco Bell but it seems you cannot get that much for 5 dollars anymore. 2 for 2 dollars whoppers for the win when they ran those specials. I have had white castles its not nasty but the gastro issues are real.
I still can’t get over those White Castle burgers lmao, c’mon son go ahead and get u a White Castle burger and a trash can so u can practice your jumpshot...or throw those hockey puck burgers like frisbees
The hell you dont. Well, maybe not in Austin but only a short trip away. https://austinot.com/texas-hill-country-castles
Apparently, a lot of people eat them—they even outpace McDonalds’ Big Mac. The Wall Street Journal this week noted that the company sold an astounding 554 million tacos last year, vividly describing them in concert as: ~Mic Drop~
Don't know if they carry them at HEB but I have seen them in stores. I don't know why anyone would buy them but evidently there is a market.
I actually thought of that massive ode to castles on the Rhine before I made the post, but forgot that it was “white.” Instead, I went with “white, bigger, and more spectacular” (a remark that reminded me of Seinfeld for some reason!). I’ve driven past it 3 or 4 times, at least. No place but Texas! ;-)
It's amazing how they make that thing look so nice in their pics, but then you see the pics of it from people that actually bought it and you can't tell if that's the way it went in or came out... smh : Spoiler
Well, considering how cheap they are... I remember when Taco Bell had tacos for 49 cents (no idea what they are now), I'd be like... ok, give me 10. With a Big Mac, I'd eat 1 or 2 and wonder what the hell they put in them that fills you up so fast.
