    The canned soup versus Ramen poll has opened the basement door on food. Let's take as step down.
    All three are going after the same market (stoners, after bar close crowd, teenagers without a lot of money) and all three are questionably food..

    This might be a tough poll given that I don't think Jack in the Box and White Castle geographically overlap but since when have things like geography, time period and other relevant factors stopped an internet poll.

    It's 3:30 in the AM you are either a teenage with $2 in your pocket, high, or still drunk after the bars have closed where do you go?

    Fast food relies heavily on location and if the poor **** heating the food decides to give a **** that day. All of them can be good in a pinch if “fresh.”

    I can only speak on JITB and TB and that one is easy, given I only have $2.

    JITB = 4 tacos
    TB = 1 taco

    TB seems to think theyre on the luxurious side of the fast food industry now. The only downfall for JITB is they dont give a **** how their stores are ran and almost every one I go into, its poorly ran.

    If you tell them you want your tacos fresh they’ll begrudgingly do it for you. Nothing worse than a floppy jack taco.

    I think of Arby's as step above those three but maybe they might qualify.

    Taco Bell's add might make them seem that they are on the luxurious side of fast food but when you have something called the "Crave Pack" they know what their market really is.

    $2 for a Taco Bell taco? I admit I haven't been to one recently but I recall that their basic tacos went for around $0.50.

    I wouldn't eat Taco Bell when high and poor in college. Not going to start now.

    Given your options...JITB. Given options available close to me at 3:30 am, Whataburger.

    Im sure prices can vary from region to region, but I dont think its that wide of a difference. A basic hard or soft shell taco is 1.29(IIRC), add sour cream and its 1.79. Fugg that. I need at least 5 of those.

    I guess Taco Bell is trying to move on up the "food" chain.

    Not much commentary about White Castle but I guess that is because no White Castles in Texas.

    The first time I ate White Castle "hamburgers" I got sick.. For those not familiar they don't use hamburger buns but the tiny hand buns you see like you see in school cafeterias. The "patty" is almost like a meat paste with onions that is steamed and grilled.

    I occasionally crave those JITB 2 for $1 tacos. I order mine without cheese that way they're fresh. Takes me back to my childhood when there were times that was all we could afford.

    Last time I tried to eat Taco Bell I bought a bunch of tacos and stuff and took them home to my teen aged kids. I think we all tried a bite or two before throwing everything in the trash (except those cinnamon twists those were awesome).

    Never had white castle.

    White Castle is disgusting. They are all over the Midwest like a scourge.

    Every time I have been in a White Castle there has been someone sick with a runny nose and coughing working in there.... with trash in the lobby and the smell of garbage.

    Taco Bell is mediocre. The tacos are meh.

    Jack in the Box is the best of the 3...... but why not just hit What-a-burger?
