    Like I said WHO cares??;)

I will be shocked if CP3 is not using a walker next year! Last year showed us what a bad tasting recipe that 'hammy strain + Scott Foster' is.

Further- Harden could be injured in your "next year prime" scenario.

The time is NOW. History will bear that out.

Honestly, since we got Shump adding House would be pointless...MDA's head would explode knowing he has solid 9 player rotation

History will bear you saying signing House meand the time is now wtf. I had no idea a GLeague player is the difference between winning a ring and wasting Harden's prime

If you can't afford to pay this guy a mil or two why are you owning a NBA team? That's like nothing for a guy like tilman.

I keep coming back to the argument that we dont want House "just using us as a springboard to land a big contract offer from another team..."

Isnt that the basis for every guy playing in a contract year?
Isn't that the subtext by which we acquired Rivers and Faried on min contracts?
Isn't that the hope for which we traded for Shumpert?

He may 'outplay' his min contract and benefit the team - Heaven forbid! lol

So, the shutdown ends with Tilman caving and the House and Raymond Brothers getting exactly what they asked for in the first place-- a remainder-of-year contract and restricted free agency this summer. Could have had House during all this time to help hold down the wear and tear on the main guys.

Nah they can't. Havent you read Bima's post? The plan was always to convert House at the last possible time to save on $$$ and get under the lux tax since he is getting paid on a prorated basis.

At least the "House the key to a championship formula" people can shut up now.

This is such an ignorant post. The Rockets got EXACTLY what they wanted. They avoided the Luxury Tax, improved the team through buyouts, played winning basketball and rocketed up the standings and they still get House for the playoffs.

Any Rocket fan should be thrilled with how this worked out. If we sign anyone next year to a non-min contract (Fareid, Rivers, House or anyone else) it’s only because of how magnificently Morey and Tillman managed their roster and payroll.

Spectacular work by Morey. Spectacular stupidity by people who don’t get that.

If you say so, Tilman. I hope all the extra strain and injury risk we put on Harden is worth the money.

Sure thing Cupcake. I’d like to see your strategy for keeping Harden off the floor. You going to transplant Kahwai’s whiny little b**** ass into James’ body?

So he sat and got his preferred contract?

Is it really Morely's fault then to save money this season with LTS when he couldn't get House for a team controlled three years?

Congrats Danuel? You're now betting with House Money.
