    never said he did, just saying what it would take for kobe to even be on par with mj

    I watched when MJ was already slightly pass his prime. And yes the championship years were mainly when he was already pass his prime. I never saw the acrobatic layups or dunks except on video.

    Dream, but MJ is still better than Kobe. And knowing the answer to an irrelevant question does not make a legit opinion.

    it is relevant because cause MJ was there in 1986 and you should know where he was that year.

    the title is did you watch mj and kobe ..

    some people did watch mj in the 80s

    I thought MJ in the 80's was more enjoyable to watch, I thought MJ in the 90's was a better player.

    It's sort of like the Derrick Rose effect, flinging yourself every which way and still making the shot is entertaining, but burying opponents like a machine is more effective.

    Jordan's era did not allow zone defenses but the play was physical. As good as Jordon was, I still found myself not completely confident that the Bulls could pull off a victory some nights. I guess that's what happens when you're a fan you get overly critical of your team and or players.

    Kobe is a great player.

    But he is no Jordan.

    Even Phil Jackson recognizes this. And I think he'd know something about both guys in their 'prime'.
