i was on the "dmc best center in the league" wagon, but his team couldnt get to .500. the trade didnt do much at all. here's my list (bosh and davis are pfs forced to play center) dwight noah duncan (get real he's a center) dmc drummond jefferson (when healthy)
I'm not sure Howard is the best at anything but he does a LOT well. After you combine all the categories together I think he's the best.
Defenders can, in turn, get more physical with Dwight. Howard isn't miraculously going to improve his shooting because it's the 90s. Agreed 100
The things Dwight can do on the floor are unreal. Anthony Davis however is very quickly climbing that ladder. The problem with our Rockets is that outside shooting. If those shots are not falling and we can't stretch that floor we basically have no chance and it screws Dwight up. There is a reason why Mchale wanted Dunleavy. We need better three point shooters or at least one specialist. That'll make Dwight real awesome.
Best Finisher: Howard (2nd place: Drummond or Jordan) Best Low-Post Scorer: Jefferson (Honorable Mention: Pekovic) Best Passer: Noah Most Complete Offensive Player: Cousins Best Rim Protector: Hibbert Best PnR Defender: Noah Best All-Around Defender: Howard Best Rebounder: Drummond
I voted for Dwight but after seeing the 80's and 90's I do wonder where all the truly talented big men have gone. No one on that list, Dwight included, would be even considered as a best center candidate had they played in the 80's and 90's.
Hold on. Is Davis a center. Then that means OP forgot the three best centers not on the rockets team Gasol, cousins and davis
