Our boy Alpi - burning! We know he can score against anybody. We know he can pass - and how! We know he can rebound. This season he'll have scorers & defenders around him. He'll have increased PT. So when does the inevitable first TD arrive?
the moment he gets consistent playing time.... I mean real nba games of 35 minutes and not 12 minutes, 6 minutes a night.... and half of his nba games were not real games but 2 x or 4 x 3 minutes spurts... rockets did a shitty job developing an european 18 yrs old MVP
I’m skeptical of him getting to 10 assists, not because of any doubts of his ability as a player/passer, but because I’m not sure he’ll get the chance to initiate the offense that much. Getting to 10 assists isn’t just about being a good passer, it’s entirely dependent on the coaching and the offensive system. Look at these turkey games, he’s playing 35 minutes and often getting 2 or less assists. So yeah, that’s my biggest doubt, is whether or not he even gets the opportunity. But if he’s allowed the opportunity by the coaches, then I’ll say before the all star break.
I don't really expect him to ever get a triple double. I think he'll get plenty of double doubles, but 10 assist is a big ask when you play next to KPJ and Green as at best the 3rd ball handler. It could happen I guess.
Was surprised that Jokic has 82 td's total (19 last year). Didn't think it was that many. Of course Alpie won't touch the ball nearly that much. But I think if he gets at least 26-28 minutes per game this year he should have at least 1 td, I'll say 2nd half of the season.
Oh, Jokic is a triple-double machine and he makes things look so easy. He also has the nba record for quickest triple double in just 14:33. If he wanted to, I think he could make triple doubles almost every game.
If he gets more time playing next to Josh Christopher then I can see him getting 10 assists. I just don't expect these other guys to convert enough of his passes to pull it off.
maybe a couple times before his career ends... lol... 10 assists from a big is a big ask... prob bout as likely as 10 blocks... id bet on 10 turnovers happening first... lol! ... thats no knock on Alpi - jus some realistic perspective imo... given that he aint the 'focal point'... double doubles should be on the norm... but a trip? thats an ask... lol
No man has a chance with that Thunder hat and Chotanak green (chotanak means branch of hazelnut tree) suit. Not convincing at all.
I picked after the break because is will take time for Smith to get his NBA game up to speed. When he does it will free up Alpi thus his stat line.
You're forgetting the fact that he has money and stands to make a lot more before he's 35. Money easily trumps looks and style. He probably has extra bumpers on his car to deal with all the women throwing themselves at him.
