    Where do you lean?

That should read, "more right than republicans.

I am more liberal than most democrats, but I support them.

You could also do well to perhaps add an "no party affiliation -- middle voter" area for those of us who don't adhere to political parties.

I don't think your poll is adequate. I'd like to say I'm more liberal in some regards and more conservative in others, but of course that's hard to do in a poll. You could have at least included an option for 'Right of Democrats but left of Republicans,' aka Centrists.

So, do the "more left than" options mean more left than all of that party or than the average of that party?

In today's political climate, you definitely should have had a centricist option, loser!

I'm probably as liberal as they come. But that's just me. My entire family is conservative. And as some of you know, I'm not a big fan of George Dubya.

Overall, I'd have to say that I'm a conservative -- although I can't really tell you if I'm > or <. It really depends on the issue.

    TO ALL THE WAFFLER"S!!!

These are the choices you've been given. Pick one, and let dogs lie.

    No-"This poll doesn't represent me"
    or
"These questions are to hard to define my affiliation"

    JUST CHOOSE!

Or were you the ones who decided that since Bush or Gore didn't fully represent your beliefs, you decided not to vote at all?!?

    Just curious.

Taking inspiration/intimidation from FFB, I voted straight Republican. I have very moderate leanings in some areas but am clearly more in-line with Republican positions.

Huh?!?! Or maybe we decided that the republicrats are all the same and depend on government intervention to solve every problem (and usually only make it worse). So maybe we didn't give in to the money parties and voted independently. You do realize there ARE other optionsm don't you? Sheesh...

The only wasted vote is a vote for a candidate you don't believe in. The lesser of two evils is still evil.

I'm with Vengeance. I had to select 'Don't Care', though that's not quite right.

I'm just sick and tired of watching everything get bogged down as a result of Democrats and Republicans fighting like friggin' children.

This...this is why a pro wrestler gets elected governor!! *Wishing I had a pic of Opus with his eyebrow raised and finger waggin'.*

    I'm a fairly liberal democrat.

I'm pro-welfare, pro-choice (though I can understand why people are pro-life), anti-captial punishment (again, I can understand why people are pro-captial punishment), against organized prayer in schools, for gay marriage, and definitely nowhere close to an isolationist.

However, I'm for a fairly strong military and I'm not real big on animal rights. I don't want them killed to make sure that make up won't kill the local sororities, but if sacrificing an animal's life will save a human's life, then sign me up.

    Don't care because I don't know.

My ignorance is my bliss, anyhow, unwanted stress is bad for your health. I'm too compassionate about silly things in my own backyard to let myself get caught up in world issues. Man, I just got this life thing down half way into my 30's, I mean true happines! Sorry can't worry too much about politics.
