Until the "good" cops quit with the blue-wall-of-silence crap regarding the "bad" cops, they are just as guilty. That is all.
i dont see how he was being a dick. he didnt break any laws and therefore was under no obligation to show the cop his id. he was calm and didnt cuss at the cop. it was the cop who all of a sudden yells, cusses and calls him "young boy". how many times did the cop taunt him, cuss at him - totally unprofessional. he sounded like an out of control psycho. he sounded like an easily excitable 14 year old boy. i have had similar experiences w/ cops. unfortunately, most of my dealings w/ police are not positive experiences. im at the point now where i dislike cops automatically - it is up to them to prove to me that they arent like this scumbag. i would like to think that most cops are good people, but my experiences have proven otherwise.
do they ever do right? i just thought it was funny that someone was protecting pedophiles because some force may be used.
I wasn't protecting pedophiles I was only questioning why such aggression? This one guy was already down and one cop came running in and tackled him anyways.. which was ridiculous. That's all.
We'll just disregard the whole innocent until proven guilty concept. If the pedophiles are convicted then they can face their punishment, letting cops use unnecessary force because of what they are accused of is just dumb. And that video is pretty scary, it makes you wonder how many people he's arrested for bull**** charges simply because they didn't show him the respect he thinks he deserves.
They do that to everyone. The guy can be laying on the ground unconcious and the cop still puts a knee in his back and rolls around with him on the floor.
Come on, you can't tell me the guy wasn't being argumentative when he kept interrupting the cop (who just wanted to see his ID) with the 'what did I do wrong' stuff. He DID have an attitude from the get-go. As I said, the cop was being an ass and deserves what he will (hopefully) get because of this. I hope he gets thrown off the force. We don't need cops like him. That being said (and I'm sure I'll get flamed for this), when I get pulled over, I just do what the guy says. If I'm not doing anything wrong, then he can't do anything to me. I just wait and let him do his thing before I start with the "what did I do wrong" schtick. I do find it ironic that people who cry about racism and stereotyping are the same people who condemn ALL cops because of a few bad experiences.
all he did was ask a question. i dont see how that is being argumentative. this isnt nazi germany or communist russia - cops just cant walk up to anyone and demand to see id. he had every right to ask why the cop wanted his and since he had done nothing wrong, he had no legal obligation to show it to him. if you arent doing anything wrong than you have no obligation to show the cop your id. if a cop demands my id the first thing i am going to ask is "what did i do". like who?
The magical ass also has never met a r****ded authority figure that he won't defend endlessly. See his tireless defense of Bush for evidence.
typical. thats why the other putz is on ignore and you will be now, as well. im the bad guy because i dont relently bash every authority figure and blanketly lump everyone into one group? Grow up a little guys. The down with "the man" schtik is old, tired and to be perfectly... lame.
He's been on my ignore list after all attempts at gaining inisight into his peculiar psyche via rational debate resulted in increased agitation, incomprehensible posts, and a nauseating amount of self-pity. Edit: For fun, I took a look at his most recent post. Let's evaluate my observations for validity... increased agitation self-pity incomprehensible posts - what is "relently"? Also, I thought I made it quite clear why I viewed things the way I did in post 25. But apparently, it's just "relently" bashing authority... Nice strawman though (again). increased agitation Bravo!
how come no one commented about how the cop kept telling the guy he will just keep making up things to charge him with. That annoyed me. The clicking was the auto mute on his radar detector.
