This is more about kids in America than anywhere else. Kids killing their parents for stupid stuff like rules, a bit of money, or other dumb stuff. Just horrifically insane.
Is this really just an American problem? This doesn't strike me as the consequence of a permissive society but individual psychosis.
Mother aside, correct me if I'm wrong, this guy offed his source of income. What a dumas. Did he think a minimum wage after school job could support his lifestyle? I think his lawyer will craft up a story that he was insane or on drugs, or the other guy killed his mom cause he couldn't pay his drug bill.
Yes, that's the spirit! The kid wasn't thinking in "Mother aside" mode enough! Just kiddin. His family picked up their roots and came to America to give him a good chance in life and he killed his mother. The irony of it depresses me.
Wouldn't he be the heir to his mother's estate, since their is no husband or other siblings? Other children have killled their parents for cash.
A guy I work with knows this kid's uncle (whom the kid had been staying with until arrested). Allegedly he's fitting into the profile of a sociopath. Very egotistical and arrogant, thinks the world revolves around him, thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He also apparently showed little if any emotion at anything. He thought he was "playing" the police (thought he was smarter and was "charming" his way around them), until faced with the confession from the friend. He then admitted doing it, but was more pissed off about being caught rather than actually killing his mother. Remember, this guy stood watch while his mother was violently stabbed to death, then moved in with family and acted like nothing happened.
You don't hear about this stuff happening in Pakistan. You see many instances in the U.S. of kids killing the parents for money or whatnot....most famous of course is the Menendez brothers - may i stress BROTEHRS - so much for "individual psychosis"
I can tell from his posture he's a pansy. Belly out, shoulders tucked in, one leg in front of the other like he's a mannequin in a woman's lingerie store. He'll always be treated like someone's b**** because of numerous shortcomings. And this inevitably of a lifetime of frustration is what pushes him to deviant behavior along the lines of murder. The fact both these kids were Muslim gave them a legitimate reason to use their hate to bond together, as we see time and time again. Also, many Pakistani marriages are a result of inbreeding and other barbaric practices. It's a stereotype, but it would explain the stupidity of the kid.
A couple years ago I was walking around a market place in a muslim nation in the Middle East with my cousin. There were a couple merchants who asked us if we were married. When we said related, they encouraged the idea even more and showed us pictures of their kids who they conceived with their cousins. I thought it was extremely odd to see this outside of Pakistan (Amanpour brought it to my attention), but it turned out they had immigrated from Pakistan.
