Come on. How responsible is he?

Everywhere he goes, his people are starting fights, people get hurt and they end up getting shot. He's been in trouble with the law and is suspended from his profession. He has made multiple promises that this was behind him and has gone as far as to say he won't be out past a certain time of night.

Yet he still is out. He's still at strip clubs. His "people" still are involved in fights, and people still end up shot.

Yeah, he's not responsible. He's just an innocent bystander who keeps getting caught up in these situations.

I don't see where Buck said leadership wasn't the same. Maybe he's simply making fun of VY's leadership skills. I don't recall any Astros in 02 being involved in more than one stripclub shooting.

okay whatever. I think we all know he was being sarcastic but I'm not going to argue with you. I made my point, it was a bit hypocritical. All I did was search his name and bagwell leadership because I knew he valued their leadership. maybe he wasn't be sarcastic, if so I apologize through you.

 

I don't see anything in his post that would lead anyone to believe that he doesn't value leadership. I think he was making fun of VY fans, not VY. I don't see any contradiction between his post and his post five years ago, sarcastic or not.

I don't think the sarcasm matters, I think he was being sarcastic too. I think he was making fun of VY fans who have elevated him to myth-like status.

 

Speaking of leadership/intangibles...did you catch Peter King's rating of QBs? I'm not one to yell racism all that often, but wow.

 

man, just because vy will go down as possibly the finest leader in american history doesn't mean that everyone needs to hang on his jock. as history elevates his importance alongside, mlk, muhammed ali and louis armstrong, we'll hear enough about him as will our children's children. i think we should all try harder not to mention his name, he's too hyped.

its hypocritcal either way. if he's making fun of the fans than its hypocritical because he obviously places value on bagwell's and biggio's leadership. if he's making fun of the leadership argument its still hypocritical.
