i'm revoking space buddha's buddhist card. he is not allowed in the buddhist community anymore. that's not how we roll.
Well from the footage I have seen there is only one girl hitting her at a time. I imagine she thought if she tried to defend herself then all of the others would have jumped in. I've been jumped before and it is not fun, sometimes it is smarter to ball up and protect yourself the best you can and let the agitators run out of steam rather then fight back and egg them on.
I haven't watched the video but I think its more than just how severe the beatdown is but the premeditation, sadism and narcism behind it. The problem that I see with people like this is if they feel they can get away with something like this they will probably try something worse later. I don't know about trying them as adults but a little jail time might make them think twice about anything like this in the future.
I have no idea anymore. I know where he lives, and I've always hoped to have a beer with the dude at the bar about 40 feet from his house, but he's really gotten weird lately. And not eccentric weird - more like "are you taking your meds?" weird. Meowgi - up for a run to my favorite dive (carlos' beer garden) so we can fight this out like real men? (that is, the oh so fun game of "6 pitchers")
It doesn't show concussion on video. If you watched it, it doesn't look like the girl is hitting that hard.
The article states she suffered a concussion. But really, judoka already pointed out the fundamental aspects that should mandate trial as adults, along with severe punishment. It's disturbing to me that this is even up for debate. She was, for all intents and purposes, as helpless as the 2 yr old in the news recently beaten to death with a video game controller by her ******* stepfather. No one wants to defend that d******d I hope. Moreover, this helplessness was a planned aspect of the attack - that's sadistic.
Oh that makes sense. I just saw the video from the link in the hangout....apparently the video that was released to the public wasnt even the worst part.... myspace pages of the b****es and phone numbers for all you crazy people http://8vs1.wikidot.com/
Eh. Not as shocking as I thought it would be. I guess it's more shocking because they are girls. IMO more violent - <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vAu89bRxHuE&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vAu89bRxHuE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
The best part is the audio clips of one of the girl's Mom saying the girl deserved it and that she couldn't back up her talk. Neato parenting.
This is really sad. All because of her myspace comments? Give me a ****ing break. This pisses me off. ALL of those girls could have retailed back by posting comments, not causing physical injury to another person. What is the world coming to?
My bud and I got jumped by about 14 saudi's once....definitely felt the same way. Although, eventually we fought back.
That's how I learned. The first time I got jumped was by three white males walking home from the mall. I fought one of them in school because he made a derogatory comment about my race. Well him and his friends saw me at the mall and began to follow me home and the beat down took place behind a Chinese restaurant. I tried to fight back and it only made the situation worse and I got hit and kicked in the face and stomach. The next time I was jumped by 5 people, 2 white and 3 black, because they did not like me hanging out with a certain person. I just balled up and protected what I could against a tree. They hit my arms and legs mostly but at least I didn't get kicked and hit in the face or body again. I think they also saw that I was going to fight back and they eventually lost interest.
