I've never seen any of the millions of Zatoichi movies, but I know about the blind warrior. I still don't get reference to this discussion though. Thanks for opening up there NJ. Frip ova, lmao. Shouldn't all men visit a house of ill repute at least once in their lives? Everybody should have a great or terrible prostitute story to tell their boys about. I've never been and it looks like my oppurtinity in H-Town is drying up. Nice pics dubious
Ah yes you gotta love the warm towel treatment. An attorney buddy I know showed me one of these places a few years back. Not too far from minute maid actually.
I think this service should be provided free of charge; for public protection like free towing. There would probably be a lot fewer sex crimes. What is more dehumanizing, stress relief worker or sewing elastic waistbands in underwear all day? (off to the D&D we go!)
I understand, but think about the women who are legitimate massage therapists but who have men who come into their establishments expecting more than that. I've seen accounts of women therapists assaulted by their clients when they wouldn't "perform." My problem isn't prostitution. If you want that, fine. I could care less. The problem I have is how it ruins the businesses of legitimate practitioners and even endangers them.
Show me one legitimate deep-tissue therapist, and I'll show you ten potheads that do it on the side to support their "bohemian" lifestyle. Maybe I've just been in Austin too long, and known too many wannabe-hippies that have dropped out of college to become "massage therapists" because they think its easy money that they can make while stoned. You guys should really think about increasing licensing standards as a profession. The other side of your issue with this is more of a social one. Our society tolerates prostitution as long as it's kept out of the public eye. Businesses like escort services and massage parlors play the games that society forces them to play in order to stay open. When they get too big or too obvious to the straight and narrow crowd, the police crack down. It's a silly and hypocritical process that allows the prudes to sleep at night. One day, maybe our society will be honest enough with themselves, and legalize the world's oldest profession. But until that day, the cycle continues.
Yeah, that's what all massage therapists are - hippies and potheads. And, that's a perfect justification for not caring about this particular problem.
That's not my argument. What I was trying to say is that becoming a massage therapist is too easy. Because of that, it attracts too much riff-raff. Potheads, hippies, and prostitutes. If it was as hard to become a massage therapist as it was to become, say, a registered nurse, you guys wouldn't have this problem. There are some great massage therapists out there. But there are a TON of posuers. If you guys want to be respected as a legitimate profession, then you need to legitimize!
Easy how? In Texas, it takes 2 years of school (including 50 hours of internship) plus a day-long state exam as well as mandatory yearly continuing education courses and license renewal. Of course, it varies by state. Some states have more restrictive licensing procedures while others (like California) have none. I am no longer an RMT, but there are plenty who put thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of time into their profession.
Exactly. I guess the cops are seeking to "expose" the sex industry? Reminds me of those "Cool Guy" skits from Adam Sandler's "Stan and Judy's Kid" album. "I invest some of my hard-earned money with the love industry if you know what I mean........"
There are tons of them here in Dallas...A lot more from what I can tell...There is nothing wrong with a "Happy Ending" every once in a while...
Ok so I have this buddy that, um, has been to these places. You go into this anteroom…with a glass window with a lady sitting behind it. She generally asks if you have been there before and you sheepishly nod yes. They then ask for a twenty to forty dollar door fee. You go into the next room. This room is ridiculously dark. They parade out 3 to 10 females and ask you which one you want. You point and then go with her into another area where you sit on a couch and make sweet love. Or whatever you paid for. Maybe you just wanted to kiss and stuff. I don’t know. The “massage and shower places” are better. I hear.
Well, now we know why SR610 used to run that spot Whatever happened to the "Femme Modeling Studio" ad at the end of the Rockets or Texans post-game show? It was always good for a smile.
Reminds me of the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry goes to the massage therapist and at the end of the massage she asks if she wants her to finish him off and he says yes and she starts to "finish him off".....funny episode I could care less what goes on in these places, although I do see Jeff`s point that it hinders the real therapist. After looking at the back of the Houston Press I have to wonder if ANY of those are for real
