No, I'm not moving the goal post. Post the numbers yourself for the amount of times a firearm was used for criminal activity in the U.S and compare it with the number of times a firearm was used for legitimate self-defense. And then compare that percentage to the failure rate or misuse rate of any other inanimate object such as an automobile and ask yourself if we would be even having this debate if the failure rate or misuse rate for any other product was as high as the misuse or failure rate of firearms. That is were the goal post is. I haven't moved it. You posted a stat with incomplete information. You didn't compare your number to any other number and expected me to swayed by just the sheer magnitude of times a fire arm was used in self defense. At least in my post I used multiple variables for a more accurate representation of how effective firearms are.
