Why is it that many fans on this board feel we have a guard problem?

I watched every game and the glaring problem with the team was inconsistant foward play. Our guards (SF/Cat) where our two most productive players. Yao was our third. Yes he will be better and I'm hopping for more consistant play next year. So I expect Yao to be our 1st or 2nd most productive player.

Having said that, why do we want to add more problems to the team by destroying the backcourt without addressing the most obvious problem(sf/pf).

I understand we want SF to have more scoring responsabilties, but I do not feel it is needed to move him to the 2 to accomplish this. Remember at the begining of the year when SF played like a MVP canadite. He did this from the pointguard position before Yao was starting.

When we didn't have any post game working is when the guards had a harder time and made themselves look worse. We don't need to add a mediocre point to get a few more points out of SF. We could get that by getting a reliable foward.

    Sorey I'm a terryble spellerer:D

steve is just fine in pg. we really need that guard rotation. we have no solid back-up pg not like the kings or mavs have. you pull out bibby, jackson steps in. you pull out nash, van exel comes in. we need a true solid back-up pg so that if ever francis takes a breather, we will just a lose a few points in the floor. arenas would be great addition. i like his play. he got offense. his perimeter play is just hot all the time. crawford would be good too..

one thing though, i think the reason why rocs dont want to release mooch is because of sales. i mean, moochie is very popular when it comes to his charisma. i mean, he brings $$$ to CD. and for CD, that's great profit right there. but if he wants a championship team, he would rethink about that.

Err... I think that in several games this season, the rocket had a post game going well early but for unknown reason the guards just stopped playing the post game.

Well, maybe not bust. My second choices would be Alvin Williams or Cassell.
