Wow. Those are better than Harden's numbers...

    43% / 36% / 85%

45/37/82 is a realistic goal for Lin next season.

I expect harden to improve his FG% as well and hopefully the 3% a tad too, but I doubt his FT% changes all that much, he's already pretty elite in that area.

He will probably get close to a million shots up in the next few months.

We'll see how effective it is.

Just listened to this again and Morey says Lin is the 5th best PNR player on 9 PNRs a game.

It doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure Lin doesn't do 9 PNRs a game.

He only takes 10 shots a game now.

I would guess that the majority of his assists come off the PnR

He's probably talking about the offensive team production when he runs the PnR, could result in a shot, assist, foul, etc...either way, good things usually happen when Lin gets a PnR opportunity

If Lin is the 5th best PNR player in the league, who are the top 4?

I couldn't find it on any stat sites, maybe Morey uses his own?

I imagine Harden and Dwight are ahead of Lin.

    Just to extend on this...

If Lin is the 5th best PNR player in the league and Harden and Howard are above him.

We could potentially have 3 of the top 5 PNR players in the league!

I would be unhappy if we don't go to the PNR a lot more if that's the case.

Pretty sure Morey's reference is to the PnR ballhandler, as opposed to the roll man. Either way, you're right about Dwight and Harden's excellence in the PnR...the only problem is that Dwight hates being the roll man for some weird reason (I think it's cause he wants to badly prove he's an effecting post player, which he isn't). Also, our coaching staff doesn't seem to understand that the PnR is the strength of our backcourt...

Ah. Didn't know Dwight doesn't like to play PNR because he's so good at it.

I agree that the coaching staff don't run PNR enough or is it just that we don't have the big men to run it?

I'd like to see more PNR if we get a big man that can catch, jump and finish.

Melo is always at the top, he's been #1 this year. He just likes to ISO more, so it's Felton who's initiating PnR most of the time.

According to Synergy, Houston is the best PnR team in the league.

It's amazing how we are 1st PNR team when Asik having trouble catch and dunk more than often. Huge potential.

Speaking of knee-jerk, the only I can say is missing from this post is that he did all that after recovering from knee surgery.

Now maybe some "fans" need to humble themselves & apologize.
