Scola won't lack for minutes. And if we can keep all three guys healthy, we have the best big rotation in the league with 2 of the 3 of them on the floor practically the whole game.

 

How come July 1st couldn't come soon enough?

I hope Morey seriously pulls of a Bosh S&T and re-signs Scola.

A Yao-Bosh-Scola trio would put the Lakers' Bynum-Gasol-Odom to shame.

There goes the argument that Luis Scola wants to be traded to Toronto, if we get Bosh.

 

I doubt Toronto wants Scola. He'll definitely walk if he gets traded there..

 

Luis wants to stay with Houston. That's obvious. It was obvious leading up to the deadline, to anyone paying attention. If he doesn't, it won't be from the lack of a desire to remain a member of the Rockets. I will be really, really bummed out if we don't manage to keep him.

Yeah, I doubt Raptors would want Scola at all. They are seeking to rebuild around their number 1 pick couple of years ago, barginni (sp). They will need picks and young prospect. Raptors may want ariza instead.

 

Luis is happy to what...on what guy?

 

There is a lot to love about Scola, on and off the court. I really hope the Rockets keep him around, and don't try to lowball or somehow weasel out of paying him. He would still get big minutes, certainly early in the year while Yao is, hopefully, getting back to form.

The market will determine what he makes. That means that Scola and Lowry's agent are told to seek offers from other teams. The offers they get have to be matched in order to retain the free agent. The Rockets will only make an offer after other teams make offers. So the biggest threat would be a team that needs a player in that postion and has money to burn???
