Congratulations, RM95! If you last as long as we have, you'll be another couple who busted the crap out of the averages. Ain't love grand?
best memory related to DMB: I walk out of reception..get into limo. So ready for event to be over. So ready to go on a vacation with my new wife. Limo starts driving for hotel. Radio is on. Crash comes on! It was still a relatively new song at that point, and my favorite. Great memory I'll never forget...
Thanks again for all the well wishes. Marriage is wonderful. Everything seems better now and I feel complete. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and the reception was one badass party. About 15 minutes before the wedding started, I really started to freak out, so I just began rambling about the Astros. It calmed my nerves. Anytime I felt it come back or when I started to blubber after I kissed my Mom before we walked out, I would just say "Go Astros". At the altar, there was a point where I thought I was going to lose it and my Dad (also my Best Man) saw my lip starting to tremble, so he just muttered "Go Astros", and I was able to make it through without crying. At the reception, I don't think my wife left the dance floor once the dancing started! We ended up staying at the reception site for about an hour longer than we had it and we even had the photographer out on the dance floor while he gave various guests his camera to take pictures. He said it was hands down the best wedding/reception he's ever worked. Not to mention, any rifts that were in my family are gone. We were having some troubles that we really hurtful to me because we have always been so close. Our wedding just threw those out the window and our time spent together was just like it used to be. I am the happiest man on the planet right now.
congrats man. Enjoy your day(or maybe her Day). And i hope you will be verry happy with her for the rest of your life.
¡Felicidades! At least I have a picture of you when you were HAPPY. I thought about PhotoChopping you into the first page, but that's not how I met you. We'll still go for some Steve-O BOOZE, er, BLUES, right? I mean, look at me, a Married Mexican going to a Blues night... when have you seen that? Congrats, dude.
Thanks for sharing the great wedding day stories and pictures. Your bride is beautiful. I know I've found hearing the whole story of this relationship to be inspirational; it goes to show that there really can be a "right person" out there and a relationship that is special and meant to be... even if it's not the first person you ever tried to make it work with. I think a lot of us have learned from this. Happy honeymoon and all that...
