Update..... Everything turned out OK!! Thank GOD! Results came up negative. Found out it was something really simple to deal with, and not on the major level that cancer is! I feel sooooo relieved. In terms of symptoms, for us guys out there, I had been having severe urinary tract infections for the past two months. My doctor put me on anti-biotics to knock them out, and nothing seemed to be working. The last step was for me to go to a Urologist and get screened for Prostate/Testicular cancer. The urologist told me yesterday that I had a slight "tortion" which aggrivated the family jewels and caused the infections to occur. He undid the "tortion", which I tell you was EXTREMELY painful, and prescribed me a stronger anti-biotic. He did the check for the two types of cancer, and everything turned out negatory! THANK GOD! I appreciate all the good thoughts from you guys, it feels so good to have that dark cloud lifted off my head. My advice to any of you guys out there, if you start having any symptoms similar to what mine were, get to the doctor ASAP! Its better to find out sooner than later!
Good to hear and glad it wasn't more serious. One piece of advice I've heard for men to avoid urinary tract infections is to drink cranberry juice.
Yeah I am going to start to do that more often. I used to drink nothing but water, but I have become extremely addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper. I drink way too many of these per day, and need to cut it out! Water and Cranberry from here on out!
Had a friend who had this and he explained to me the agony of undoing the torsion....sorry!!!!!!! But SO glad it wasn't something more serious. I'd take a kick in the balls in exchange for no cancer!!! Seriously, glad you're well!
When I was a kid, I had a severe dual (yes, dual) torsion that was so painful, I could barely breathe. I crawled into my parents bedroom (this was at about 2:00am) and tapped the side of their bed until the woke up and took me to the hospital. I couldn't even get enough breath to speak. Fortunately, it was dealt with surgically, and I made a full recovery. But I wouldn't wish this injury on my worst enemy.
The truth is... You actually HAD prostate cancer, but since we did all that praying for you, God changed things so that you are okay! See? When enough people pray, we can change the terrible things that God has planned for you and transform them into what we want! The power of prayer! Thankfully, we had enough people praying for you. If it was only one or two people, you'd have been a goner.
