the idea of d. west sounds good and looks great on paper, but where do chase's minutes go ? to be honest we can't add anyone else , without having to reduce someone elses minutes, the lineup is set. kicking the lakers ass in the first game, is whats on my mind now , bring it!!!
Trains, plains, or automobiles you better have my donuts! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZukVN_djZds&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZukVN_djZds&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I think he's an excellent fit for the Lakers. If he gets offered minimum here or other places, particularly Los Angeles, I think Los Angeles takes him. He's the perfect triangle PG. Spot up shooting 3's, post up PGs, very good defense on both guard spots. Him or Hinrich is who I fear the Lakers get at PG.
Bipolar, threatens team chemistry, and has a history of illegal behavior. Sounds like a great idea!! Here's one for the conspiracy theorists: LeBron didn't leave Cleveland because Delonte boinked his momma. LeBron left Cleveland because the Cleveland Organization 1.) hired a PI to watch Delonte (after the last arrest) 2.) therefore knew exactly what was going on with Delonte and Bron's cradle robbin' momma 3.) and did NOTHING to stop it.
If Yao is back to where he was before the injury, you don't have an argument. That is a big if. Hoping it is the case. You throw the best big in the game on an over-500 squad which had no bigs, a team which took the Lakers to the brink 2 years ago, then you do have a potential contender.
They can probably get someone about the same skill level without all the headaches. I think the Rockets can probably make a roster balancing move by trading Jeffries' expiring for a SG with a similar contract to a team needing frontcourt depth.
The same West who was arrested for mar1juana possesion last August? Same guy who was arrested in September when he was pulled over for speeding on a motorcycle and was found to be carrying 3 loaded guns? The same West that physically went after teammates and a referee in training camp? The same guy that has been pretty open about his lifelong battle with bi-polar disorder? Uhhh...that doesn't sound like a Morey guy.
Morey went after Artest. Low risk, high reward. This isn't the Cavaliers where one prima donna was disrupting the hierarchy of authority.
