You're saying you don't know what really happened, and saying that, believe that's enough to equate Bill Clinton with George W. Bush. Anything else in the way of "urban legends" you wish to lay at the feet of former President Clinton? Don't leave anything out. Surely there's something else floating around.

    Impeach Bush.

He regretted not getting Bin Laden, he didn't regret not making a deal with Sudan that was never offered.

There is no clip claiming what you say it does. There is a clip, which was discussed, and after I pointed it out to you in that thread you disappeared.

you can search it if you want. Clinton never claimed to have received a legitimate offer from Sudan that he decided to turn down.

The reason is because an offer from Sudan never happened.

It doesn't matter, FB. This crap will be repeated because it's about Bill Clinton. Heaven forbid that the Democrats have a successful two term President in our recent past ("our" as in my political party... I know it's not yours! :) ). Prosperity, balanced budget, improved trade numbers, relatively low-level conflicts abroad... no, he was as awful as Bush. He has to be... his name is Clinton.

    Impeach Bush.

I thought when he tried to attack afghanistan but was accused of taking the heat off of himself?

Was not this the basis of "Wag the Dog"?

I think he was trying to distract folks from Monica and the whole whitewater mess.

I'm not sure. That is my recollection, only. I didn't hear about the supposed Sudan offer until much later after the fact. But I remember hearing about the wag the dog stuff. I thought the criticism is that it was to distract from monica/whitewater.

This article seems to indicate it was to distract from the Lewinsky testimony.

So...... any links or proof of the Sudan offer or is this just a "I got proved wrong let me ignore it like it never happened." situation that basically occurs in every thread in DD forum?

I don't like what Bush did so I won't call them accomplishments, but he was one of the most successful Presidents in our history,
For the benefit of a few and at the expense of America

He made Halliburton and KBR alot of money.
    He made bankers much wealthier
He laid the foundation in the Patriot Act and Homeland Security for the destruction of our civil liberties
He re-opened the opium trade in Alfganistan
He put our military permanently in Iraq
He put a pro-globlist government in place in Iraq

I am sure whoever he works for is proud :(

I just remembered one: He extended Daylight Savings Time. I'm not sure how much energy it's saving, but it's great for my gardening time.

wastes energy because people come home during hotter part of day where

    vehicles burn more fuel
    homes need more cooling.

...from Bush's perspective. Since he put "The Iraq War Strategy by Bush was Wrong." From a U.S.A. perspective, of course it was wrong, but not from Bush's.

I still don't see how people still believe in "politicians" or that "politics" exist. Same as religion. Anyone that gets voted in office DOES NOT have the country's interest as their first priority, but rather their own interests and the interests of others in their power circle. I never saw Bush as a President, but a businessman. At the end of the day, a businessman chooses money over people, regardless of their field. Bush cemented his family's wealth and power for ever, who cares about the reputation aspect when you are as wealthy/powerful and with so many high-level connections around the world.

Bush Sr. helped get W. Bush into a position of power and made large amounts of money for their family's "stockholders", or campaign donors as the ones that publicly donate are called.

What better position of power than the U.S.A. President?

I know the thinking is wrong, but it is what it is. That's what everything is sadly about... money and power. Not morals.
