We funded Bin Laden during the Reagen years - FACT. However, once Bin Laden aimed his attacks on America in the 90's beginning with the first World Trade Towers bombing and the USS Cole, THAT was when Clinton should've stepped in and taken him out. However, we didn't. 9/11 happened under Bush's watch - FACT We have more terrorists because of it - FACT But at least now they are on the run and don't have as many financiers backing them. This is EXACTLY what Bin Laden wanted to see. He wanted to see the US lose the battle in the Middle east while destroying America financially and dividing us Americans socially. It's time WE ALL as Americans stop fighting with each other and come together. Whoever our President will be, that is going to be their main purpose. Maybe it is Obama that can unite this country. Maybe it will be McCain. From what it looks like here on this board it's more than likely Obama. What I don't like to see is putting him on this high pedestal like a Rock Star and cult figuire. That is what we DON'T NEED.

concur actually, no. acceptance of reality is the first step to solve the problem. The reality is that W diverted resources from Afghan to Iraq. actually, the occupation of Iraq has spawn-off more terrorists. The occupation has done wonders for the recruitment of new terrosists.
