Come on, this team won more games when Aaron Brooks started. He's tough and also entertaining. Those AB haters make no sense.

The rox have won when he's had not so good games too. Yao's job isn't predicating on just scoring. As a big man, its about rebounding and defense which has nothing to do with brooks. Tonight, yao was ok, but I think he did a great job of contesting shots inside. That had nothing to do with Aaron. Like is said in a earlier thread, look at yao touches vs his shots. In his mind, everything has to be perfect, but in the nba, it won't be. No one will be mad if yao forced a couple shots being aggressive. Whether he does it, that's up to him. In the nba, you can't be spoon fed everytime.

When AB is making 46% of his shots, I don't give a damn how many shots he's taking.

yes, they want him to be aggresive and take more shots.. he's a natural born killer.. i mean scorer.. i don't see any problems at all as long as we win.. billups is a tough matchup for any starting pg

If its not one thing, its another. The thought of brooks being the next chris paul or d will isn't realistic. What he does is put pressure on the defense with penetration and quickness. He also puts pressure on the defense because they have to close out "under control". That means they have to leave yao quicker to set their feet to contain the drive. When he drives and even if he misses, a lot of times the big leaves yao to contest the shot which leaves yao for a offensive rebound. People act like brooks is the only pg that struggles with billups or williams. In fact williams torched billups the whole game a couple of night ago. Its just part of the give/get.

Aaron's stats were for the whole season, not since he became a starter

i think brooks should and will remain the starter. he and lowry are a nice tandem but i would like to see both of them step it up. if they, along with wafer, can play more consistently, we have a chance to do some damage in the playoffs.
