Lake, bayou, and river dwellers are another matter. I could live on catfish and crawdads. But yeah, I'm like the only person I know who doesn't worship crab. I just don't get it.
I've never been, but that does look crazy good. Reminds me of what a lot of Viet-Cajun/Casian restaurants do with crab, crawfish, and shrimp. Now I want some.
We'd get along. I love crab meat, but getting at it is too damn much work for me. I draw the line at crawfish when it comes to effort/reward. lol. I could live on catfish, crawfish, and seafood gumbo for life.
Didn't anyone tell him that all those people walking around and sitting in cafes are actually either homeless people or actors?
A couple of years ago my wife and I flew into SF and drove down to Monterey and Big Sur. That entire drive and coastline is one of the most beautiful places in the country. When we told my FIL about our trip, he asked if we felt like we were in danger with all of the homeless people and encampments in California. He said he would never visit California because of the homeless people and drugs. 24x7 consumption of Fox News really made him believe California is a hell hole. It's too bad, because he loves the outdoors and fishing. I think he really would enjoy visiting California.
