Please explain how Facebook is addicting

    This happenend to me recently with a girl I had been dating for only a few weeks. Who passive aggresively communicates through a social network anyway? HUGE red flag...

    I think Facebook is what you make of it. I really enjoy it as a passive way to keep up with my friends that aren't in Texas. And yes, a ton of folks are annoying users - but that's what makes hide option so terrific.

    Your status updates are a daily rotation of the same thing (Ugh it's Monday, Ugh Work sucks, Happy Hump Day, Why isn't it Friday yet? TGIF!) ... HIDE

    Only post the things only you care about (Did my 3.4 mile run in 27:36!) ... HIDE

    yeah well keep doubting. when 50% of people's grandmother/grandfather is on your friends list people move on to something else.
