Let's just ignore his 18pts per game and him being third in the league in steals per game. Sure he's shot an ugly percentage, but he's still trying to find himself on a team that doesn't have a lot consistent scorers.

can't day until i can see the man play. that is the whole point, they are not letting us see to judge for ourselves. but last year i think even on one leg TMac's worse game was not 0-9 and a bunch of turnovers. talk about an offense killer , this guy has been murdering Houston's offensive flow in the pst few weeks

At this point, I think starting Taylor for 5 games could vault his development further than a whole season of Ariza.

Trevor is what he is. He is not going to develop playmaking ability, a shooting touch, or finishing skills. I just don't see what the point is....

correct my if i am wrong, but hasn;t the whole knock on TMac by the McGrady haters on this board has been that he is a low percentage volume shooter? isn't it having it both ways when you knock TMac down for volume shooting to get his points, and defend Ariza?

You keep Tmack & Ariza on the roster and there is a good chance we will not make the playoffs

At least you're a new specimen in that you're bashing both of them. But then tell us, what shall be your suggestion, O Wise One?

Trade both of them for 2 good big men who might be able to help the team more than these 2. With Tmack we were never able to get past the first round of the playoffs with him hurt we did it got past the first round

i don't think anybody is bashing ariza my friend. i think we ALL love and respect the guy. we just don't like the role he's trying to play. it's that simple.

we all know his limitations (yes, he's not going to be an all-star). and we all just wish he plays within his limits.

we need a good sg (tmac). Ariza is a sf and battier just plain sucks. He gets a free ticket from bill and matt.

    Big men? wut.
We're perfectly fine at the PF position and while Center could be better, it could be worse. We need better wings and shot creators, and T-Mac simply isn't the answer, but for now it's wait and see, develop the young guns. And Ariza is a perfectly good role player, which is what we pay him for, but not a shot creator. Trading for bigs in the long-term is idiotic - we need wings, not bigs.

Who said we wanted him to be an All-Star again? It'd be nice, but Morey says that Ariza is worth the MLE purely for defense and any offensive growth is a bonus, and I'm not going to disagree with Nerd Jesus. He had a very bad game today, like ALL of our wings, but that's merely unfortunate, as today was just a bizaree loss.

Ariza is overrated predictable player with awful decision-making, average skills, average basketball IQ and he is not working as hard as other guys, especially in defensive end. So why I should like him? Cause he's shooting threes like Antoine walker? And he drag this team down on a regular basis. Screw him, he doesn't earn any respect on what he is doing right now

adelman and morey were hyping ariza up to be our go to scorer when in reality he is only marginally better on offense than battier.

i've never seen so many games where one player held us back so much. his inefficiency is really killing any offensive flow we have. it's like having rafer pt 2.

    Grammar??

Yeah I guess leading the team in points and steals isnt what the Rockets wanted. Some of you idiots act like this guy is a max player, or a high paid player. He is a complimentary player, at best 2nd option and when the team gets healthy thats exactly what hes going to be...
