Both Pakistan and Iran are heavily reliant upon US financial support. Iran may be more reluctant but Pakistan is in no position to argue and they have really given their own support to it. Pakistan really wants to be recognized as a significant world entity. They are not really thrilled with being relegated to third-world status which is why they've developed nuclear power. I've heard that many people around the world are so shocked by the fact that this was a civilan attack that many governments are feeling pressure to help retaliate to make their citizens feel secure. I would suspect this is the main reason China and Russia have come forward with what we should all consider fairly strong support. That type of language is really quite incredible, especially considering the China-US standoff over the downed spy plane.
I saw a news reports that said that the Pakistan government said that there were approximately 1,500 Pakistani nationals in the World Trade Center at the time the planes hit. They feel that this attack was a very global universal attack, not solely aimed at the U.S., but the entire world economy and its leaders.
If (or better yet, when) we do attack them, will this all be on T.V.? Cuz i dont wanna miss a second.
