Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a PlayStation Plus membership? The cheapest I see is a 1 year membership for $49.99. Is there a reputable place where I could find a better deal?

 

Sometimes retailers will have sells on ebay with a $10 or more discount on PS Plus.
Best bet is to check the Cheap Ass Gamer website regularly. They post deals all the time including for PS Plus/Xbox Live membership sales

 

I see it once in a while on Slickdeals for as low as about $43.. honestly though, for the extra 7 or 8 bucks, I would rather just grab one from Walmart so I have the code right then, instead of having to wait for something in the mail, or some digital-delivery that can take days, and you never know when you are going to get it. The savings is not large enough to make it worth the hassle.

 

Well I still have 3 months left on my subscription so a few days wait ain't no thang.

I'll just check CAG and the other deal sites, and if nothing else I'll just ask for a year membership for my birthday in April (assuming 29 year olds still get presents)!

 

Wait a minute...

My PS Plus Membership expired but I'm still able to play online? I thought that was the whole point of getting a membership!

 

Double check and make sure it expired. PSN usually reimburses automatically when there is an outage.

That makes sense. I have no payment method on file so they definitely didn't charge me. Thought I had 3 more months but I did not.

 

Never gonna forget that I won my PS4 the same night Steve Blake hit a game winner against us.

April fools?

 

It isn't April Fool's, but the 4K thing won't really be for games. It'll just provide extended report for the 4K standard from what I've read. The current PS4 system still has trouble with certain titles being ran at 1080p, it'll require a lot more than a minor update to allow for 4K gaming.

 

Anybody else pick up Uncharted 4 today?

I picked it up and am finally done with the day one patch install.

Bout to dive in. I've been on black out on this game as to not have anything ruined and now my body is ready

 

My favorite video game franchise. I expect U4 to get GotY.
