Apparently Bungie has decided to extend the alpha. I haven't seen anything on how long it's going for now though
Im a proud new owner of a ps4 on its way from a gentleman on eBay from Florida. I'm curious how many hundreds of hours of my life will be spent on this one.
Put my foot down and pre-ordered the white PS4 Destiny bundle to be released down under on the 9th of September. The countdown begins. Wasn't really too sure what to expect of Destiny... but hearing the majority say largely positive things after this Alpha... I'm ridiculously excited. Taken the 9th off work - first time I've ever done that for a game. Goodbye sweet, sweet social life.
Regretting purchasing a second PS4 for my living room. I would've held out if I knew they were releasing a white one. I guess the good thing is all my consoles match (color). Should I take a $100 hit and sell it, although it's practically new just for the white bundle?
Yeah sell it and get the white one, you're life is meaningless without it. They wont even let you into the club or give you a loan if they know you don't have a white PS4.
Lol, while I don't necessarily agree with the wording I'd say hang on to the PS4 you have. Unless you just have $100 to throw away for a color change and it means that much to you.
You alright Ziggy? Tell me how you really feel bro. If you're going to buy two or more of something, why buy the exact same thing if there are options? I have 3 3DS's and they're all different. A pink one for the spouse, pikachu and zelda for me. I think I have 4 different PS2's. OG PS2, slim, white slim and a japanese one.
For those interested in getting the Last of Us Remastered, Dell has an interesting deal. Buy it at full price and you get a $25 Dell gift card that you can put towards another game or use for an actual Dell product I guess. You have to add to cart and then you can see in your cart that you will get the gift card. They don't have much of a selection in games right now but I imagine if you wait a month or two they will have a large selection of the Fall games coming out this year. Here's MGS5 game play they showed at E3. This game is focking amazing. You can recruit people/stuff and have it transported to your custom base, which can also get attacked. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/h6J_eY-0PTs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
So...I'm 10 minutes into this. I've played like less than an hour total of any MGS games (a few minutes of MGS2...the demo for Metal gear rising...stuff like that) and this looks mind blowing. Just the amount of calculations being done, like the wind affecting the fulton? That's bonkers. Maybe I should get Ground Zeroes...
I felt the MGS series has went down hill, looks like MGS5 might revive it. MGS1 > MGS3 > MGS4 > MGS2. The only one I truly enjoyed was MGS1 because there was a lot of innovative game play elements I never experienced before. MGS2 to MGS4 basically repeated the same formula with maybe a couple of new mechanics. On the video, they said the game is 100x larger than GZ. GZ is basically a demo and I wouldn't buy it unless it's cheap. Btw, I wonder if the VA for Snake wasn't really fired? The Snake Sutherland is voicing is actually Big Boss, the original Snake. I think they cloned him and that's how we got Snake from MGS1. Anyways, the story is too complex for me to follow, I'll probably google it sometime. I prefer Hayter > Sutherland for Snakes VA, but I think the majority is okay with Sutherland. Off topic, there is a TF trial for 48 hours on PC. Be warned, it's 50 gigs...and takes awhile to install. Played a few matches and I prefer Destiny.
