Forza, NBA 2k14 are 1080p, 60fps on XB1. As drivers mature on the development tools....most XB1 game will be 1080p, 60 FPS.
You're just predicting stuff...Infamous hasnt crapped all over anything. It'll be a nice game, but I dont see it as being anything epic. Uncharted 4? Lol, so you're talking about a game that is at least a year away from being released? That sucks that you have to reach so far into the future.
Actually Infamous does look quite epic...Uncharted is awhile from release, but in the early part of 2014 you can expect the stuff below: DriveClub, Planetside 2 (PS4, already out on PC), Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition (Includes the new expansion, plus PS4 exclusive content), Infamous: Second Son, MLB The Show, and a ton of indie games like Don't Starve for free next month. I don't think anyone who has a PS4 will be lacking in games to play within the next few months, especially if you subscribe to PSN+. All of those are just exclusives or console exclusives expected by March of 2014. Again, this whole console pee pee contest really needs to stop, it is completely ignorant on both sides. Both systems have great games, can we keep this thread about Playstation please? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/NFukFWFndEk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Exactly why Im switching from ps4 to xbox one. I don't want to wait that long for a good ps4 exclusive (ive played infamous 1/2, they get boring real quick) . To be on topic though - anybody having trouble connecting to psn lately? It really feels like PSN is no improvement over PS3 even though they force us to pay for it now. Seems like xbox live will always be superior?
Yeah, Im not saying the PS4 wont have games to play...but if you're trying to diss a system by spitting off a game that is a year from release, that's pretty weak (and why I couldnt resist not responding to the post). There are more than enough games to go around for both systems...and lots of great games regardless of which system. Just depends on which exclusives you prefer...a game like Infamous or a game like Titanfall...a game like Drive Club/GT or a game like Forza...
All your posts consist of, PS4 games are boring, I'm switching to Xbone, lol PS4 fanboys. You're just as bad as those guys who claim impartiality, but call out PS4 owners and next thing you know, they got a Xbone for Christmas and love console gaming. Sell your PS4, get your xbone and stop whining.
What exactly am I whining about? You seem to be butt hurt because you are so attatched to this piece of plastic. I've been saying that all fanboys are pathetic, not just PS4 fanboys (although they are horrid). Get a grip man.
I'm calling you out and you're trying to turn it around and say I'm butt hurt and attached to a piece of plastic. lol. I think I remember you saying that like 3-4 times now. Get over yourself, we all know what you are. I'm sure you know yourself and you're either delusional, in denial, or just paid to make the same posts over and over again. Relax, I've read all about the network and how you guys operate. Next thing you know, 2-3 other MS guys will jump up and defend you and accuse me of being a fanboy. Pretty typical behavior pattern that's been happening since the 360. It's well documented how MS likes to try to manipulate the general population with these under handed tactics on message forums. I was asked to stop making posts in the Xbone thread and out of respect I have (although I had legit questions that no one could answer). I would appreciate it if you and your gang would stay on topic instead of continuing to thread crap. If you insist on thread crapping, do it in the system wars thread.
Definitely will be picking up Demons Souls. Thanks. With a 2nd vote, I'll pick this up as well. I am at heart Bestbuy, Target, and Gamestops have all had recent stock of PS4s. Obviously you don't want one that bad.
I can practically guarantee that most games will NOT be 1080p @ 60 FPS. Though that is almost entirely due to the fact that most devs see no point in targeting 60 FPS (i.e., it has nothing to do with XBO hardware). And yeah, try to keep some of these bickering in the other thread please. FWIW, I think if you're having problems finding good games on either system, maybe gaming isn't for you. Never understood those type of comments, especially from early adopters.
I'm completely unprepared for this (I try to never get excited for CES), but apparently Sony is finally giving some details on their Gaikai service (now called Playstation Now I think). Just going to link to Neogaf: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=747343 Starts this month, full rollout in the summer.
Interesting. Wonder how much the service will cost. Would be nice not having to have the PS3 around any more. Not sure if my PS2 even works. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/07/sony-reveals-its-streaming-service-playstation-now
I've been wanting to grab one, but haven't been able to find any in the DC area. I also couldn't when I was in Washington state and home in Houston. I wonder if Sony meant to limit them this way, though that seems r****ded. I've had a chance to get XB1 a couple of times, but I really want the PS4. At this point they look really similar, but historically I've enjoyed the exclusives on Sony's gear much more. Especially once Mass Effect finally came over. I plan to track one down after beating The Last of Us.
The US is definitely getting a lot of focus from Sony when it comes to PS4 shipments. That said, they do have to send some PS4s to those other 50+ countries. As I pointed out in the other thread, they've sold 4.2M through 2013 (for those that don't know...that's a LOT in a month and a half or so), so they're definitely trying to get them out there. FWIW, I'd expect around half of that (maybe more) to have come from NA (primarily due to the focus on shipping systems to the region).
Read a bit more on PS Now. Nothing too surprising. They talk about a subscription plan and a "rental" service. Without more specifics, not much to think about. Though certainly rules out the idea that this would be a PS+ feature I guess (that would be ridiculous). 720p only, 5mbps connection recommended. Nothing too crazy (most PS2/PS3 games don't even hit 720p). Good to see it supports trophies, multiplayer, "cloud saves," etc., but that would be expected I think. I think the few hands-on impressions I saw were pretty positive. Definitely obvious that this isn't QUITE PS3 quality (or something local), but those things are apparently easily forgotten and the gaming itself can be very enjoyable. Hopefully that scales well. This doesn't sound too different from what Gaikai offered originally. So still seems good, but we await more details. Does seem more and more concrete though. If it works well, could be a pretty good business model for Sony. On another note, I believe Don't Starve is available for PS4 owners today (assuming you have PS+). Haven't played it yet, but looking forward to it.
I think I'm going to finish the last of my PS3 playlist from disc then make the jump. It's good to see that there's at least an option for older games.
It is. I played it a bit just now. Interesting game...lol. I'll never complain about free of course. I don't think I'll play it much, but it's still cool to get stuff like this for free.
