Waited at GameStop. Got there at 10, I was 9th in line for a PS4, not too bad. The manager gets there and says they have 9 PS4s. Sweet. Then he comes back out and says they only have 7. Damn. Okay, maybe someone's credit card won't go through or something. We get inside, they sell 4 PS4s and say they're out. Wtf?!
gamestop has some in stock right now but I didnt want the bundle version(comes with knack,killzone, and extra controller) for $610.
PS+ is $29 at Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart and TRU and Playstation store today. I think the best deals is psn (buy $60 get $10 credit) store and Amazon ($5 video credit).
This sucks all you guys have a PS3 and bloody Australia doesn't even have enough to give me one with my preorder I have to wait months before I'll get one

Well, for what it's worth, all cars on Forza 5 are half off this weekend...and I was given a bonus of 3 million dollars. Therefore, I can have pretty much any car I want...and I can work for the others if I run out of money to buy the cars I like. That should make all the people happy that just want to pop the game in the system, drive around with all the top cars, and then put it to the side in favor of other games.
Assuming they currently have the game during this sale. Making your microtranactions a little cheaper doesn't really help when the complaint is all about the microtransactions existing in the first place ("We're sorry we made a game where we push you to buy stuff....so please go on and buy some stuff this weekend!"). Now that the game has launched, there isn't really an easy way to "fix" it so those people will be happy. Ideally, Forza would either be F2P, or the F2P mechanics would be stripped out. But can't do that now. I assume Turn10 will gradually tweak things so that in may only take ~10 hours or so to get enough credits to earn all/most of the cars (or something along those lines...plus access to all cars outside of the career mode), but that's really about all they can do to "remedy" this IMO (and I'm not sure it is even worth it for them).
