3 defensive breakdowns by the Suns at the end of regulation and the 2 OTs. If they lose this series, this game will haunt them for a very long time.

I think one thing is clear: whomever wins this Clash of the Titans will end up representing the west in the NBA Finals. I just don't think any other team out west can beat these guys in a Best of 7 series. The only two teams that can are out east: namely the Celtics and the Pistons.

Too bad this is game 1. Regardless of who would have won, just imagine if this had been the decisive game.

On that last play, Suns with the poorest defense ever. You know Manu will get the ball and go to his left. You have to take the ball out of his hands or at least force him to the right, out of his comfort zone.

No ****. They sound like they just beat the Clippers.

Suns lost this game due to:

    1) Shaq being a liability at the FT. When he was taken out with 6 minutes left after missing FTs, it shifted the momentum towards Spurs.

    2) Inability and refusal to guard Tony Parker

    3) Defensive mental lapses by Suns.

    4) Bad plays designed by D'Antoni when they needed big ones.

That's why the Suns have never won a championship and may not even with this lineup. They don't play defense when it counts. Manu killed them with the assist to Duncan in the 1st OT(you either foul Manu or give him the layup there) and just walked it in at the end of the 2nd OT.

What an amazing game! This series is going to be incredible. I tend to think the Suns will still pull it out, but, man, they had some bad breakdowns on defense. If Steve Nash weren't leading that team they could really be demoralized by this loss.

One of the best playoff games I have ever seen... could have easily gone to a 3rd overtime.

3 Pointer by Duncan... wow... amazing.

I just the replay on that Manu drive.

    Defense was pathetic.

    Nothing else to it.

Suns are looking good. The Shaq trade is paying off. They just need to steal one or two game in San Antonio, that is doable.

That an awesome game. It was so tight. In the end, the Nash, Shaq, and Amare couldn't perform. Duncan and Ginboli had better execution. That's why they won this game.
