actually, i would say it's becoming a trend. 2 years ago against cleveland, they let an extremely overmatched cleveland squad take them to 7 games, and needed several lucky bounces/shots at the end of game 7 to pull it out. they destroyed them in games 1 and 2 and then just fell apart. then the next series against the heat they put up little resistance, again seeming to have completely lost their mojo. then last year against cleveland, they again let an overmatched cleveland squad take 4 straight while looking completely lost. i would say the disinterested/disjointed pistons are almost becoming the norm in the playoffs. it's almost like they think it will look bad if they have to start exerting themselves against such a "lesser" squad, and their pride keeps them from doing something until the absolute last minute. kind of like a high seed in the ncaa tournament taking on a 15 seed. like they would be embarrassed if they have to try. now it looks like in the 3rd quarter they've finally decided to assert themselves and start doing what they should be doing. we'll see if they hold the sixers off.
GUARAN-SHEED easily gets 20/10. Pistons gained control in 2nd half w/ ease. Game over. Series even up 2-2.
