great game from the Sixers. the Pistons are getting smoked. Sam Dalembert plays like an all star in this game.

the Pistons may need a guaran-sheed to win game 4.

This is making those losses to the 76ers not look so bad

Hmmm If we have had beaten the sixers 2times this season, the rockets will be the no.1 seed in the West playoffs and face Nuggets. It makes a lot of different! But these Sixers are good, real good! Detroit looks like the most overrated team in the playoffs right now!

This is great for the 76ers and Mo Cheeks especially. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and I'm happy for his success.

The Pistons weakness is Wallace. "The fish stinks from the head down"---and if he and his lackey Billups don't care, then the team will revert to lazy, Larry Brown-style basketball and lose.

Detroit better come to play soon, or philly will send them packing.

They're a cocky bunch. They act as though its already decided. That's why Lebron opened up a new hole in their rears. What people don't realize is Philly has the personnel to play them. There is no mismatches on the court. They have a PG who knows how to control the tempo and get the ball to players in position to score easy buckets. Numerous athletic players who can give Billups and Rip fits all day. Enough size up front to crash the boards. Best part is Iggy hasn't even seen a mediocre game yet, he's been awful so far.

And you want Boston to get knocked out?

Personally, if the Rockets can't make it the Finals (and I doubt they will), I want a Lakers/Celtics Finals. I think it would be good for the league to have those teams meeting in the Finals again.

Plus, I'm a huge Garnett fan.

seriously, why the hell would anyone want to see the pistons in the finals again ??? what a snoozefest

boston vs anyone should be pretty good because none of the big 3 have been there. i would love to see their intensity in the finals. i would love to see KGs reaction if the celtics win. (that is, if the rockets don't make it) also, ray allen and paul pierce are two of my favorite players so i would love to see them win it as well. but most of all, i DONT WANT any of these other ******* teams in the west to win it, or the pistons.

like i said during the streak, i felt boston was the only team WORTHY of ending it. boston is the only team i would want to see win it if we can't do it.

Agreed. Also, I forgot to add I'd also want the Lakers to be in the Finals because that means the Spurs, Mavs and Jazz are knocked out.

    Game 4:

I just noticed the 76ers. They are a bunch of very athletic, young, and hungry group. If you look at their roster, they are all young and athletic:

    A. Igodala
    T. Young
    R. Carney
    Jason Smith
    Dalembert

They also have a big, strong PG in Andre Miller to matches up well with Billups. I find myself rooting for them. They're fun to watch.

I know this is the least important 1st round series on the forum. But I'm asking again if anyone else is watching. I've never seen the Pistons so disjointed. Their turnovers are so stupid and uncalled for it seems like they just want the game to end so they can go back to Detroit. Flip's interview after the 1st quarter was weak. You could see on his face he had no explanation for their performance.

So far, the EC playoff games are more interesting than those in the WC.

Detroit shows up. A 9-0 run to start the 2nd half. Uh oh!
