Did anyone here actually watch the whole 2nd half? Did Rasheed just stop playing after dominating the 1st half? Wouldn't be the first time that happened.
incredible win for the sixers! just like saleem, i don't really hate the Pistons or anything, but I just liked rooting for the underdog sixers to win the game.
Like Magic said in response, he doesn't want that. Seriously though, did you see the 2nd half? Please describe what happened after it was 60-47 Pistons.
how the hell does chauncey get the name big shot? outside of ONE playoff series, he has sucked in every playoff appearance.
i saw it. philly just really picked up its defensive intensity and really started to push the ball. they started to get some easy baskets and reggie evans was all over the place. defending, rebounding, getting tip ins, he was doing it all, and so was andre miller. they got it down to around 4 or 5 for awhile, then pushed ahead and got a 4 pt lead. detroit missed some easy shots down the stretch but they were already down so i guess the pressure got to them a little. wow i cant even fathom that the sixers could beat the pistons in a series, but that sure would be something. that would be a worse upset than GS and dallas IMO. hats off to philly, they really dug in on defense. it must be nice to have so many athletic guys at every position.
"I'm just looking forward to epic failure happening in the city of Houston, and believe me, nothing great is going to happen" -Tracy McGrady oh and if he scores 50, i'll still hate. then i can call him a ballhog lmao
C'mon now. I can't believe I'm the only one watching this game. There is still a lot of time left but the Pistons are coming apart at the seams. If the Sixers were more efficient they would be up by 20. The Pistons don't even look interested in what's happening. It's like they are bored.
what are the chances the Pistons actually lose this series?? as much as i like to support the underdog, i think Detroit are the only team that can challenge the Celts in the East so if they get bounced they may aswell cancel the remainder of the East playoffs and by default insert the C's into the NBA finals.
oh and sorry for 2 post, but in the above scenario ol' Flip Saunders can say his goodbyes. infact he'll be gone unless they push the C's to at least 6 games.
I doubt Nuggets4 will bother reading this thread, but I think he'll confirm Andre Miller was an undedicated slacker in Denver. He's grown up a lot since going to Philly. To start the 4th, Carney with the 3 followed by Chauncey with a near airball. They've missed 15 shots in a row. 20 turnovers and 21 made shots.
The Pistons are playing like this is the preseason. They better wake up or they're going to lose this series.
