    Most likely Detroit and Verlander I'd figure.

    Then Hambone and the rest of the Rangers.

    You are going to compare the yankees of the past to modern ball. I am assuming this is casey stengel. I mean sure he has the rings, but the yankees might as well have been the harlem globtrotters playing the washington generals. Was there anybody on those teams, not in the hall of fame?

    What a great performance by Carpenter and Halladay. I love baseball games that are 1-0. Should be a great NLCS between Milwaukee and St. Louis.

    I really didnt expect the Phillies to fall to the Cards.

    I suppose this happened mostly due to the Cards being hot at the right time, and the Phillies being a bit cold those last couple weeks of the regular season, and bleeding over into the playoffs.

    Still, at about the first week of September, It looked all Phillies, Yanks & Red Sox.

    Just goes to show what can happen in 3 or 4 weeks in baseball.
