We never know, TMac's playoff record is hard to beat, like 0 of 8? At the end of the day, that's the hard cold number.

You clowns are amazing!!! What makes you think playing the Lakers is easier than the Jazz. We whooped the Jazz azz this year. Were the best in the West, even without our top two defenders, Ariza and Bynum. Get out the broom clowns!!!

    Welcome to my never-ending hell.

There's a small portion of Nugs fans that think the team would have been better off keeping Andre Miller and not getting AI. I'm close to joining that group. I love AI. I think he's an amazing player and he's an absolute joy to watch in person. That said, I don't think he was what this team needed.

God, I just don't want to get swept.

AI may not be the answer but you wouldn't be any better off keeping Andre Miller. The Nuggets need an on the floor leader and Melo isn't it. Besides a new coach, the Nuggets need to consider team chemistry when revising their roster. You need a tough backcourt leader who will hold players (including Melo) accountable when they slack. If that means getting rid of AI for someone else, so be it. I've noticed over the season that sometimes AI is out there busting his backside alone and he doesn't bring the other players with him.

You guys aren't far away from contending. With the right moves, you could be among the favorites next season.

Honsetly, I think they need to blow it up. Melo, JR and Kleiza are the key pieces. They can be dealt for the right offer, but not dumped. Camby needs to be dumped. I doubt we could move KMart, but I'm fine with that because he's been the least of my concerns this season. Mango and I have actually been e-mailing each other lately and I told him I'd love to have a defensive glue guy out there. Shane Battier has been my dream for 4 years now, but it's obvious you guys won't be dealing him. I'd like to see Bobby Jones get a shot. He's not a badass, but I think he could eventually be a lesser Bruce Bowen without the karate kicks.

As for the leadership thing, that's something a lot of us on the Nugs board have been discussing for a while. That's why we were hoping to trade for Cassell before he was released because we knew he was going to Boston. His juevos would really help this team, not to mention his outside shooting and general "badassedness" (God this paragraph sounds like Tinman wrote it).

I ultimately think as long as we have the three headed monster as GM, it's going to fail. Dump Warkenstein and then choose either Bearup or Chapman to run the team. The other can still be influential, but we need one person who makes the decisions -- period. Until then, we're going to be a mess.

This team is pissing me off. I back them like crazy since I use them often in NBA2k8 and crack jokes to my roommates about how my Nuggets play disciplined D and AI shares the ball and gets everyone involved(which they do in 2k8). The Lakers have NOBODY who can even hope to contain Melo or AI. I know Nuggets best defense against Kobe works in a hotel, but even so AI and Melo should be more than enough to outclass Kobe. Kleiza and JR are capable of dropping 20 each, so their bench is plenty strong. They have a lot of big bodies up front. Gasol should never be auditioning for an instant ESPN classic. WTF is George Karl doing!? I just don't get it. They need a defensive minded coach..... Man f*** this the Nuggets piss me off

We did the same thing to you guys, 1st game of the season and win number #22 (which was total wash) without Yao Ming and Carl Landry and T-Mac being non-factor.

Like I have said earlier, we matchup better with the Lakers than we do with Utah....we don't have to defend PNR, Okur shooting from the outside, and crazy Utah fans. We don't have to worry about a quick pf who can shoot, like Boozer. I'm not saying we'll blow out the Lakers or even beat them in the series....Im saying we will be a tougher matchup for you than Denver and possibly Utah....Like the NFL, the NBA sometimes is about matchups. Utah had a good team defense on occassion, but the Rockets are great on defense on most nights.....we rarely give up 120, 110, or even 100. We make teams work just for 90 - 95 points.

Gasol will actually have to earn his points against Hayes, Scola, and Mutombo.

Kobe will always have hand in his face Battier, Mac, Hayes, and even Landry.

You all don't have a great pf, sf, or pg, It doesn't matter if T-Mac has to guard Luke or Odom. You all would struggle against Boozer and Williams on offense.

Bynum, I doubt will play series or even near 100%....

Adelman could and probably will outcoach Phil Jackson, at times, don't let ring count fool, you because, every year Jackson has probably won he had the best talent in the league on his teams. I actually think in terms of coaching, we might actually have advantage, like Utah.

LA is decent on defense at times, but they are inconsistent and far from being great at it. I don't think we will have trouble scoring points against you guys, if we end up playing.

It'll come down to who has less turnovers, more rebounds, and plays the best 4th quarter.

It would be a very close series.

The Nuggets are just very poor defense and they don't seem to have any will to win, I wish Warriors could've made it. They would at least put up some kind fight. This is like one of those squash matches you watch in wrestling.

Like I said, before we would give the Lakers, a helluva, most people wouldn't think so, but we actually matchup better with them than we do with Utah and they are not nearly as physical as the Jazz. We have better defenders, better team concept, and etc.....we wouldn't fold, like Denver has. People always think the teams with best or better talent wins....but that's not always the case....sometimes you need discipline, great coaching, and balanced attack...which is what we have as well as S.A., Utah, and Boston.

I know posters out there feel like the Lakers going to sneak in or ride shotgun into the NBA Finals....I don't think so, I believe will find a tough series against the Jazz or Rockets and bow out to the Spurs. The way S.A. beat Phoenix last night, shows why I believe that....I don't think any of the other teams in playoffs could do that to the Suns, except Celtics.

I don't know what changes will occur with the Nuggets organization this summer, but they need to shake it up because what they have at the moment is disappointing.

Man. I thought Rox are getting bad calls. But these Lakers are the baddest mofo floppers. Damn! I knew Fish is at the top, he proved it with K-Mart's "smack in the face". But when the hell did Lamar become one of them. And Walton!?
Of course, Denver sucks. Actually both teams suck. It would be easier playing LAL. Except for the flopping..

i know. melo is just breaking down right in front of our eyes. so sad to see. iverson is just not a guy you can build around if you want to win b/c he can't do jack without the ball.

but lakers are just too deep. they didn't even need kobe in this game.

Tell me I heard this wrong: At halftime they said some of the Nuggets players were watching the NFL draft. When asked if he had a problem with that, Karl said "no".

This is an embarrassment. I remember an interview with AI and Melo talkin bout how he feels no team can beat them 4 out of 7 times.

Cant be surprised when you have AI and Melo as your team leaders.

Their attitude stinks, top to bottom. You can't mistaken that "I don't give a f***" look on the face of every single Nuggets player. I've never a seen a team take losing -- nay, a team getting embarrassed, rather -- that well. Everyone on that team, including their coach, is looking out for himself and himself only. It's a collectively pathetic team and their fans don't seem to care much about it either. It's like the fans are just showing up to watch the circus act, they hardly even booed after watching their team give zero effort in a "must win or die" playoff game. I guess Nuggets fans just don't care much anymore, or may be their players/teams don't even bother trying because they know the fans are just looking for a good time, and don't really take their Nuggets very seriously. It's just so radically different from Houston fans and their attitude towards the Rockets. We enter a series, know that we're vastly overmatched and shorthanded, and yet actually expect to win the series or at the least expect the team to play their butts off, which they've been doing. The fans here demand a lot, may be too much at times, but Denver fans just genuinly don't seem to care at all...help me out here Nuggets4.

Embarrassing all-around, but I guess we might as well have one series over with and concentrate on the teams that came to play.
