If you remember my comments for a long time, or anybody else does for that matter, you need to do more with your life. Avoid using words like moron next time unless your goal is to get on my ignore list.

Cut Brooksball some slack. None of us were all that fired up when the team was playing .500 ball game after game. They looked lifeless during that time. Given all the hype before the season, and the Rocket's history of disappointing their fans expecially in the last 10-12 years, some of us got very, very discouraged. The Rockets do have a tough schedule ahead and will have to prove their metal. I am certainly more encouraged now than at any time this season, but there is still a long road ahead. Could the Rockets win 50 and still not make the playoffs? In the West this season, anything is possible. ALL of us are pulling for them to win it all, some of us react to what they do at any given time. When they win, we are happy. When they don't, we aren't. Seems like being a fan to me. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. Not much of that on this board.

The West is the deepest conference in NBA history. There is just an extremely talented group of teams in this conference and I have doubts that the Rockets will finish among those top 8 when the season ends. Of, course they may prove me wrong and when that happens I will say "I was wrong". That is the most you will get out of me. If they don't make the playoffs like I predicted I will say "I was right". That is all.
I didn't see you or other veterans stating plainly that we have no chance whatsoever. Pure rabblerousing should be discouraged.

I disagree with this more than I disagreed with the thread starter. So he has a negative opinion, no biggie. He just isn't on the Scola, Landry bandwagon just yet.
See previous posts for an explanation of what I meant by "no way". As far as whether my attitude has changed... yes, it has, especially with that last win. Have I reached a point where I believe the Rockets will make the playoffs? No, not yet. Too many tough games ahead and too many teams that I still feel are better than the Rockets.
