If he means, struggling to win games that shuold be wins, while getting everyone playing together and on the right page, then sure. Provided you win those games.

How does that work? There is NO WAY! None of those teams are going to win the NW division. There must be one spot for each division leader.

The Hornets have played great, but they are unproven in the long term. They also have *no* bench. They are coming back to earth as we speak.

Losing 2 games hardly qualifies as coming back to earth. They are still in 1st place in the toughest division in the league after nearly 50 games!

Do you believe that the Rockets will finish ahead of the Hornets?

So I'll just watch the season to follow player development. See if the right mix of players can gel..., if certain players improve upon weaknesses, since the season's already over. Its a relief I don't have to have anticipation about anything now. I can Atlanta Hawk fan my way through the rest of the year.

I think the Hornets would have to lose 6 of 10 the rest of the way for the Rockets to ahve a chance at passing them. Probably not going to happen. NO is in somewhere, depending on how they end the year.

Agreed. The realistic scenario says that they have to beat out Portland, Denver or Golden State. Difficult maybe but certainly not impossible.

denver has a tough stretch coming up, while our schedule is light. they are always hampered by injuries so we should be able to pass them. portland as well, but damn we could have really used the knicks help last night, and also the hawks before that had the game in hand and let it get away. it appears the rockets arent going to get any help from ANYONE. if these teams are going to keep playing .600 ball, our only chance is to play .700 ball to TAKE what we want.

The Rockets should have taken care of business against Philly, Miami, the Kings, etc. Now there is very little room for error.

Jazz won tonight. No ground made up there.

Nuggets are losing to Charlotte at the end of the 3rd quarter. Let's hope it stays that way.

The Rockets have been winning a lot recently but aren't making up much ground. That is the problem with having a mediocre 1st half of the season in the deep West and why I haven't believed the Rockets would make the playoffs for several weeks now.

5 point lead by the Nuggets now. It makes me feel good to know that the Rockets aren't the only team that chokes big time in the 4th.

Not to be rude but if you dont think the rockets are gonna make the playoffs this year you got to be smoking something or dont know anything about basketball ill bet anybody anything who thinks we wont make the playoffs. Im more worried about whether to get the 5th seed instead of the 4th because were playing so well on the road jk and also getting out of the second round. It has never crossed my mind once this season whether this team could make the playoffs or not. Oh and I also have this team going 12-1 in february mark it down ;)

If by choking you mean extending the lead then I get your point.

I think it'll take 48 wins to make the playoffs this year. I just hope it isn't more than that!
