That should end all that trade talk for Granger. He peaked last year. I would trade for Paul George though, he's a stud.
That's twice the Pacers have chucked up 3's while being down 2. Two very poor looks. They deserve their 3-0 hole.
maybe the bulls defense is too amazing, look at the pacers FG, just atrocious........ and also, bulls have a true star, but pacers only got a fake one
they had the best defense in the L during the reg season. and they had the best rebounding team in the L during the reg season. they're doing the things that made them the best team in the east during the reg season. the way the bulls are playing is not surprising. they're a very tough defensive-minded team
The pacers just cannot stop Derrick Rose. Couple that with ferocious defense and terrific rebounding and it's clear why the Pacers can't get over the hump. Korver has been a great addition to the team - his stroke is so pure and he doesn't get rattled in big games. Huge asset.
Well I new you didn't literally mean worst defense ever but I didn't think it was that bad. But after seeing the replay I must admit I was wrong that defense was pretty terrible.
Rose is averaing 32.7 ppg on 22 shots per game. That is not bad efficiency. His ability to get to the line has been impressive and made up for his poor shooting.
look at the pace of the game, and how the team is struggling as a whole offensively. considering that he takes 16 ft attempts right now, that's an extra 8 shot attempts. so technically, he's taking a whopping 30 shots a game right now in a very low-scoring series. that's not very efficient at all. he has to shoot better to open things up for the entire offense. he's their engine. and if he shoots a sub 40%, their offense is going to suck. they have their defense and rebounding to thank for the 3-0 lead.
He's shooting 90% on his FT's. So his effective FG % is over 50%. That's not efficient?! Rose had a horrible shooting game 3 that also skewed his FG%. Derrick Rose has not been the problem for the Bulls. The rest of his team mates have been especially Carlos Boozer who has played like crap. If you replace Rose with someone like Jennings Chicago would be down 1-2 now. I would say that Rose has been the difference in this series.
half of the arena are bulls' fans lol rose struggles a ton vs george. look for lebron to sacrifice his offense and take rose a ton if they meet in the ECF.
rose is their PG. he has to make the game easier for his teammates. boozer never struggled vs a great defensive team when he played us. he has to use the pick and roll more to get boozer going. boozer has always been a good shot maker, but you have to make plays for him and make his life easier (see dwill) all i see with boozer is a lot of isos, and these guys are bigger than him. and you see him getting doubled quite a bit. rose is a great scorer, but him scoring at this rate and shooting at that rate, they're not going to the finals. period. jennings is not in the same class as rose b/c he's not as great of a scorer, and he's not as good of a playmaker.
Its embarrassing that there's more bulls fans than pacers NBA teams need to have a better system in ticket sales to make sure things like that don't happen .. If something like that happens in somewhere like the English premier league away fans may get attacked ..
OR the bulls fans are thirsty as hell as are willing to make that short drive. bulls fans are excited this year b/c their team could go all the way. love seeing chicago back on the map. and paul george is such a stud. he's slowing down one of the best offensive players in the L and he's just a rookie. this guy is showing up just like tayshaunce prince did in 02-03. and this guy has a lot of offensive upside. indiana has a very bright future.
