Anyone else notice how indifferent Avery seems now? Its almost like he knows this team is flawed and doesn't care as much now.

I think he is still upset at Cuban for not trading Dirk away and instead getting rid of his project, Devin Harris.

    I thought is was CP3?

Anyway, I was happy to see the "blow out" at the Mavs' expense.

Lets not go out on a limb.

However, even with your fan boy picks, you still missed the best player on the floor. Tim Duncan. And lets see how lebron handles a KG when KG has a team around him. I'd say KG'll give him all he wants.

Oh and the best young player, lebron included, is Chris Paul.

    My Picks:

    1. Duncan
    2. KG
    3. Chris Paul
    4. Lebron
    5. Kobe

Don't believe me, wait till the finals. KG and Duncan will be there. Lebron only made the finals last year cause he was in the east. Otherwise he'd be waiting just like all the rest of the pretenders.

CP3 was stunning to say the least. At halftime I thought Dallas would use it's depth and experience to run away with the game. I'm so glad I was wrong.

I haven't read this thread, but Jason Kidd is just worthless. He can't shoot, can't penetrate, can't do anything really. He could be one of the most overrated players of all-time. I realize he's at the end of his career, but he never could shoot really good and clutch is not something that comes to mind when discussing him.

Dirk is officially the softest player in NBA history. You never, ever let another man put his hand in your face and pimp slap you like that. You HAVE to move his hand away or shove him off. It would only result in a double tech. Any dignity spared by getting an MVP after being embarrased by Golden State has now been completely eradicated by the David West pimp slap.

Anybody wrestling fans notice the Ric Flair "Whooooooooo!"'s in the background at the New Orleans Arena??! Man, I wish we had that instead of... "Everybody clap your hands!" *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

I hate that "clap your hands" crap. We should have Stone Cold Steve Austin music.

The "whooo" comes from back when the franchise was still in Charlotte. Flair is from that area and he and he George Shinn (Hornets owner) met and became friends. Since then, Flair has been a big Hornets fan and supporter.

The "whoo" was initially used in Charlotte for Baron Davis, then for BD in N.O. Never really caught on much in N.O. after the first year since no one liked him. Chris Paul is much more deserving of the man-boobage awesomeness.

Wow, Chris Paul is just dominating. Looks like the J Kidd trade might be the downfall of the Mavs.
