Hope the Texans are taking notes.... you can be inept on offense, give up the occasional big play on defense, and make some special teams blunders from time to time.... but you CANNOT turn it over when you're on the road.
The 49ers offense reverts to form. They haven't scored 3 straight TDs without a FG since the Tampa Bay game in week 5. This game is far from over.
The 9ers are going to regret not having a sense of urgency with that series of plays. When you are playing the saints, you don't settle for field goals. Period!
They've got 17 points. I'd take my chances with a 17 point lead and that defense at home... even if you're playing the Saints.
Exactly, is the defense going to play any lighter because they have a lead now? The offense already emphasizes run and efficient passing, now they don't have to take risks going downfield and giving the defense opportunities to force turnovers.
And that's how it's done folks. sanfran needs to score a td on every possession and have 6 to 7 minute drives to win this game. Either that or they need about 3 more turnovers. The saints offense is a beast.
Saints still haven't punted in several weeks. If they can stop turning the ball over, they'll be fine because they pretty much score on every possession.
i didn't realize they hadn't punted in a long time. that pretty much guarantees they're punting on this possession.
