Bibby isn't the player he used to be. When older players miss chunks of seasons because of major injuries, very often they are never the same. That isn't Bibby's fault. I agree they need another starting PG that fits their team. Three summers ago, this dumb franchise had a chance to pick Deron Williams or Chris Paul instead of Marvin Williams.

For me, today's game almost nullifies the Hawks great effort in game 6. It would have been better if the Celts had closed them out Friday. There is no silver lining in this game for the Hawks.

Isn't it amazing the disparity between the Hawks at home versus on the road? It's one thing to play a little worse on the road, but this is like a completely different team out there. To go from continually beating a team at home to completely getting stomped by them on the road is absurd... especially with the same team where you've already figured out how to win.

    Oh, and Bibby sucks also.

anyone else rooting for a 40+ blowout so the rockets lose their claim to notoriety with the biggest game 7 blowout in nba history.

Another reason to hate Garnett. In the post-game interview, instead of saying something like "It was a hard-fought series" he has to come with "See, I told you. This is home. You can't win here." I don't like Kobe either, but at least after they swept the Nuggets, he complimented them.

KG is a man vagina. He can take his little cut-throat display to the Hawks and shove it up his split pea ass as well. The Hawks deserve all the credit in the world for taking the Celts to 7 games. So, Boston showed they can only win at home. Big deal. I hope they get what is coming to them.

I think KG is a double-edged sword. One edge...he talks like he is a respectful player. The other edge...he is pompus ass with a self-serving ego.

exactly. sometimes you wonder why some players haven't won a title..and you can see how they dont deserve it.

Exactly what I have been saying about him all season. He acts like the league "owes" him a title or something. To celebrate like that when you had to win game 7 at home against an 8 seed is completely classless. Hope Detroit sweeps their asses.

things I've always liked about kg: his skills and intensity but his actions go way too far and thats always distracts me from rooting for him completely. Like when he sucker punched kris humphries (?) in practiced because kris made a great move on KG. KG getting pissed off at jefferson when kg yelled out 11-time (or however many all star) at Jefferson and Al just responded that they they at least have one thing in common, no rings. stuff like that is classless and i didnt watch the end of the game because there should be no reason why a 1 seed should celebrate beating an 8th seed in a game 7. i'd understand if it was the first time KG got out of the first round, (it was his second) but from the comments here it looks like he acted like a jerk.

here hoping cleveland drags them out and then detroit beats them.

Amen on that. My father told me last night that a word to describe Garnett is haughty. I used to root for the guy but the way he has acted so far in the playoffs has turned me against him. If your team has won 65 or so games, you don't need 7 games to beat a team that didn't even finish with a winning record. I don't care what the excuses are, the fact that series went 7 is shameful for the Celtics and their fans. I think they will have a hard time with Lebron and the Cavs and that series will probably go 7 as well. Then they will be wiped out by the time they play the Pistons and hopefully Detroit punks their asses like they so richly deserve.
