what did you expect? the team has higher expectations this year even without mcgrady, and 2 years ago the team was coming off of a dismal previous season where they didnt even make the playoffs so they had to lower prices to get people into the building.

heck that same year jvg had to start the red rowdies to get the crowd lively. houston never been a basketball town (ironically since the Rockets have its only major sports -mlb,nfl,nhl,nba- championships) so one bad season like in 05-06 can send people away in mass.

be grateful that they are only 30 bucks...where I live (LA) the cheapest laker playoff tickets right now on stub hub are going for 65 bucks for extreme nosebleeds for the first round and you can expect those to increase at least 40 dollars per round they advance and probably triple that for the finals (if they get that far)

    Yes that much is correct.

chances are I see something like this happening:

    sat:
miami's playoff game will be in the morning to push wade
then there will be 3 wcf games the rest of the day depending on what the matchups are the more "marquee" teams will be in the afternoon and the team that probably would get the least amount of national tv audience in the evening (no coincidence that the rockets always had the last game on sat night past two years?)

sunday the 4 best teams record wise in the nba will play

    orlando in morning
then boston or cleveland in the afternoons
    lakers in the evening

but the games will start on the 18th

by the way, for anyone that tried to buy game A and B but got both sets of tickets for game A, i called TC ticket office and they refunded my money and i purchased new game B tickets.

they just corrected my tickets on flashseats too, fyi.

the game "A" tickets I bought do not show on my flash seats account anymore either but I have yet to see my card refunded...I figure that will happen in the next few days though

It's the only one I could find with street locations :(

figured people wanted to give people an idea of where the seats are.
