Yep i think this is pretty much it. I am really comfortable with our 3rd group. Holiday, Tate and Uncle Jeff have been solid in their roles. We are as deep as can be. We even have a fourth group of Jock, Cam and Reed.
Depends on the matchups really and what works. I think we will see a consistent 8 maybe 9 man rotation but minutes and combinations may change depending on how the series and matchups go.
If depth has been our strength all season, I think we should have one of the longer benches in the playoffs. Shortening the rotation severely is more for top heavy teams and remember we don’t have stars right? I think Holliday is a necessity if we want to maintain the advantage of having more energy in the 4th.
This. The Rockets 9-11 depth has helped in the regular season, but not sure it is worth going to except situationally over the Top 8 when rested. The Rockets have very good depth 4-8. I'm not a fan of having 2 PFs and a center be the bench, but the double bigs and the small ball lineups have looked good lately.
Coaches shorten rotations, not expand them during the playoffs. There is no way that many players are going to be playing, nor is Dillon going to be given a bench-centric role. FVV and Dillon are Ime's veterans and he is going to play them until they drop.
This is correct. Unfortunately, giving 40 min a night to FVV is ridiculous, but it is written in stone.
I was going to start this thread two weeks ago and thought, it’s already obvious, so I didn’t bother. I think Jabari gets more PT due to his defense.
