I'd rather play Spurs and have a chance. Spurs have no solid PF's, and this is our weakness in defense. In other positions we may give a real fight, and Spurs are old as damn turtles and I'm expecting some injuries coming right away in play-offs. I don't think we have any chance against such a talented teams like Thunder or Clippers.

At worst we gonna get a nice series against Spurs

    Why no Grizzlies?

They have a realistic chance of getting 3rd seed.

Grizzlies have the most beatable team amongst the four in my opinion.

As Morey pointed out, the Rockets are one of the best half-court defensive teams with Asik on the floor. The Rockets struggle a lot defending anything else.

The Grizzlies are the slowest pace team amongst the top 4 teams in the West, and also have the lowest offensive efficiency amongst them. They are a half court oriented team.

I wouldn't want to see a healthy SAS. I wouldn't mind either OKC or LAC.

    No OKC please.

They are clearly better than us in every way. SPURS is the best choice because they're old and we have a good chance of out running them in a 7 game series (specially with DMO now @ starting). Clippers should be ok as long as they don't get dumb flop calls.

BUT NO OKC, that would just be a series of rockets raping.

Who cares! Let's talk Rockets. Every game is a playoff game from now on, IF they want to be IN the playoffs. Bring it!

    This ^^^^

The schedule favors the Clippers the rest of the way, making it tough for Memphis to slide and hold on to the #3 spot.

But I agree that our chances in this matchup would be much better than facing OKC, SA or the Clippers.

I'D TAKE THE SPURS OR CLIPPERS...YES WE'VE LOST ALL OF OUR GAMES TO THE SPURS HOWEVER WE KEPT CLOSE AND I FEEL THAT SINCE WERE THE YOUNGER TEAM, THE KEY IS RUN AGAINST THEM THOUGH IT'S EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

If we run into OKC, we're doomed. Sefolosha can lock up Harden and they always trap our pick n rolls when either Lin or Harden run it.. so they're a bad match-up. I think we have a better chance of winning if we play SAS or LAC.

Probably be swept by any of those 3. But, making the playoffs would still be an accomplishment.
